JATIMTIMES - Kembalinya tren permainan fingerboard mulai terasa di Kota Malang. Setelah sempat meredup selama beberapa tahun, miniatur skateboard yang dimainkan menggunakan jari telunjuk dan jari tengah itu kini kembali menjadi buruan para penghobi, mulai dari kalangan remaja hingga orang dewasa.

Fenomena tersebut terlihat di Take Toys Hobby yang berada di Jalan Semeru, Kecamatan Klojen, Kota Malang. Toko mainan yang beroperasi sejak 2019 itu belakangan semakin ramai didatangi pelanggan yang mencari berbagai seri fingerboard.

Karyawan Take Toys Hobby, Jordan, mengatakan bahwa tren fingerboard mulai kembali meningkat sejak awal 2026. Menurut dia, antusiasme penggemar terus bertambah seiring hadirnya berbagai seri terbaru yang rutin dirilis produsen.

"Dulu pernah booming di tahun 2010, lalu agak meredup dan kini kembali booming. Dalam setahun, produsennya bisa rilis empat sampai lima kali tiap seri," ujarnya.

Di toko tersebut, fingerboard yang tersedia berasal dari merek Tech Deck dengan harga sekitar Rp70 ribu per unit. Meski saat ini masyarakat akrab dengan berbagai permainan digital melalui gawai, Jordan menilai kondisi tersebut tidak memengaruhi minat terhadap fingerboard.

Menurut dia, fingerboard memiliki komunitas dan segmen penggemar yang cukup loyal. Kolektor maupun pemain yang gemar mempelajari berbagai trik tetap menantikan setiap peluncuran seri terbaru.

"Untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas, penjualan fingerboard juga kami pasarkan secara daring lewat platform e-commerce. Jadi, tidak hanya mengandalkan penjualan secara fisik di toko," jelasnya.

Jordan menjelaskan, bermain fingerboard bukan sekadar menggerakkan papan mini menggunakan jari. Dibutuhkan koordinasi, ketelitian, serta latihan untuk menguasai berbagai trik layaknya memainkan skateboard berukuran asli.

Kemampuan menaklukkan satu demi satu trik itulah yang menjadi daya tarik tersendiri. Selain menghadirkan tantangan, permainan ini juga membangkitkan nostalgia bagi mereka yang pernah menggemarinya pada era 2010-an.

"Bermain fingerboard memerlukan teknik dan keterampilan tersendiri, hal inilah yang membedakannya dengan sekedar bermain video game," terangnya.

Menurut Jordan, konsistensi produsen menghadirkan seri-seri baru menjadi salah satu faktor yang menjaga minat pasar. Ia pun optimistis tren fingerboard di Kota Malang masih akan terus bertahan dan semakin diminati sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup anak muda.

"Dengan dirilisnya seri-seri terbaru yang konsisten, tren fingerboard di Kota Malang diprediksi masih akan terus bertahan," pungkasnya.
