KA Malabar hingga Matarmaja dari Malang Diskon 30 Persen saat Libur Sekolah

JATIMTIMES - Warga Malang Raya yang berencana memanfaatkan masa libur sekolah untuk bepergian mendapat kabar baik. Sejumlah kereta ekonomi komersial yang berangkat dari Stasiun Malang mendapat potongan tarif hingga 30 persen untuk periode perjalanan 20 Juni hingga 5 Juli 2026.

Program tersebut merupakan bagian dari stimulus ekonomi pemerintah melalui Kementerian Perhubungan yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan mobilitas masyarakat sekaligus mendukung pertumbuhan sektor pariwisata dan ekonomi daerah.

Sejumlah layanan favorit masyarakat dari Malang seperti KA Malabar relasi Malang-Bandung, KA Matarmaja relasi Malang-Pasar Senen Jakarta, KA Ijen Ekspres relasi Malang-Ketapang Banyuwangi, KA Kertanegara relasi Malang-Purwokerto, KA Jayabaya relasi Malang-Pasar Senen Jakarta, KA Majapahit relasi Malang-Pasar Senen Jakarta hingga KA Malioboro Ekspres relasi Malang-Purwokerto masuk dalam daftar kereta yang mendapatkan diskon.

Manajer Humas KAI Daop 8 Surabaya, Mahendro Trang Bawono, mengatakan kebijakan tersebut demi meningkatkan mobilitas masyarakat selama masa liburan sekolah sekaligus memberikan dampak positif bagi perekonomian daerah.

“Momentum liburan sekolah menjadi waktu yang tepat untuk mendorong mobilitas masyarakat, yang pada akhirnya turut memberikan dampak positif terhadap sektor pariwisata, perdagangan, UMKM, serta berbagai aktivitas ekonomi di daerah tujuan perjalanan,” kata Mahendro, Sabtu (6/6/2026).

Bagi warga Malang dan sekitarnya, potongan tarif ini memberikan peluang untuk bepergian dengan biaya yang lebih ringan, untuk berwisata, mengunjungi keluarga maupun keperluan lainnya. Tingginya mobilitas masyarakat pada musim liburan juga diyakini akan berdampak terhadap geliat ekonomi di berbagai wilayah tujuan.

Menurut Mahendro, meningkatnya jumlah perjalanan masyarakat tidak hanya menguntungkan sektor transportasi, tetapi juga berpotensi menggerakkan sektor lain seperti perhotelan, kuliner, hingga pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil.

“Selain memberikan manfaat langsung bagi pelanggan, peningkatan mobilitas juga diharapkan mampu menggerakkan roda perekonomian daerah melalui meningkatnya aktivitas wisata, perdagangan, dan konsumsi masyarakat,” imbuhnya.

Diskon tarif tersebut berlaku khusus untuk kereta ekonomi komersial dan dapat dipesan mulai 6 Juni 2026 melalui seluruh kanal penjualan resmi KAI. Namun, potongan harga hanya berlaku selama kuota tiket promosi masih tersedia.

KAI Daop 8 Surabaya mengimbau masyarakat di Malang Raya untuk merencanakan perjalanan lebih awal agar mendapatkan pilihan jadwal dan tujuan yang sesuai kebutuhan.

“Kami mengajak masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan program ini dengan sebaik-baiknya dan melakukan pemesanan lebih awal. KAI berkomitmen untuk terus menghadirkan layanan transportasi yang andal, berkelanjutan, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan pelanggan, sekaligus mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional melalui peningkatan konektivitas antardaerah,” tutup Mahendro.
