JATIMTIMES - Arus kendaraan menuju Pelabuhan Ketapang, Banyuwangi, mengalami kemacetan parah pada Jumat (5/6/2026). Ratusan truk dilaporkan tertahan di kantong parkir Bulusan, sementara antrean kendaraan mengular hingga sekitar 6 kilometer dari kawasan Patung Gandrung Watudodol menuju pelabuhan.

Sejumlah sopir mengaku harus menunggu berjam-jam tanpa kepastian kapan bisa menyeberang ke Bali. Bahkan ada yang sudah mengantre sejak dini hari namun belum juga mendapatkan giliran masuk kapal.

Dilansir akun TikTok @harisayari**** disebutkan bahwa antrean kendaraan sudah terlihat sejak kawasan Watudodol. Puluhan truk yang membawa muatan bahan bangunan diduga tidak bergerak dalam waktu lama.

"Macet parah sudah berjam-jam ga jalan," ujar perekam video, dikutip Jumat (5/6/2026).

Akun lainnya menyebutkan bahwa ada sopir yang sudah masuk ke area kantong parkir Bulusan sejak dini hari sekitar pukul 01.00 WIB. Namun hingga siang sekitar jam 12.00 WIB, sopir diduga masih belum mendapat kesempatan untuk naik ke kapal penyeberangan.

Bahkan dalam keterangan video disebutkan bahwa antrean kendaraan berat terlihat memanjang hingga 6 kilometer. Mulai dari kawasan Patung Gandrung Watudodol hingga mendekati area Pelabuhan Ketapang. Kepadatan ini membuat laju kendaraan berjalan sangat lambat, bahkan beberapa titik nyaris tidak bergerak.

Ratusan truk dilaporkan memenuhi kantong parkir Bulusan sejak tengah malam. Sementara puluhan kendaraan lainnya masih tertahan di sepanjang jalur menuju pelabuhan.

Namun, kemacetan panjang tersebut diduga tidak terjadi akibat cuaca buruk ataupun gelombang tinggi. Pasalnya sejak Kamis (4/6/2026), kondisi cuaca di wilayah Selat Bali dilaporkan relatif normal. Tidak ada peringatan terkait gelombang tinggi maupun gangguan cuaca ekstrem dari pihak BMKG Banyuwangi yang berpotensi menghambat aktivitas penyeberangan.

Di tengah kemacetan yang terjadi, muncul berbagai spekulasi dari pengguna media sosial mengenai penyebab padatnya arus kendaraan di Pelabuhan Ketapang.

Salah satunya datang dari akun TikTok @Marine.selat**** yang menyoroti perubahan sistem pengurusan dokumen kapal yang kini dilakukan secara daring.

Menurut unggahan tersebut, proses administrasi kapal disebut memerlukan waktu lebih lama dibanding sebelumnya sehingga berdampak pada kelancaran bongkar muat.

"Malah sekarang sistem berkas kapal di buat on line jadi tambah menghambat bongkar muat kapal akhir nya kendaraan menumpuk , liat aja di pelabuhan kalo gak percaya kapal yg sudah penuh & pintu kapal sudah tertutup tapi kapal gak berangkat2 karna masih belum selesai urusin berkas kapal yg menggunakan sistem on line , tambah kacau," tulis akun tersebut.

Dalam unggahan yang sama disebutkan bahwa kapal yang sebenarnya sudah siap berlayar terkadang masih harus menunggu proses administrasi selesai.

"Bisa sampek 30 menit lebih (pengurusan sistem) akhir nya kapal2 yg mau sandar juga terhambat .. bongkar muat terhambat dan pelabuhan akhir nya padat. perhatikan saja di pelabuhan kapail2 itu kacau dahh" imbuhnya. 

Meski demikian, hingga berita ini ditulis belum ada keterangan resmi dari otoritas pelabuhan maupun operator penyeberangan terkait dugaan tersebut.

Yang pasti, kemacetan panjang di Pelabuhan Ketapang pada Jumat pagi membuat banyak sopir truk harus menunggu hingga belasan jam. Kondisi itu dikhawatirkan berdampak pada distribusi barang dan logistik antara Pulau Jawa dan Bali jika tidak segera terurai.
