JATIMTIMES - Karya busana tak biasa dari desainer muda Sahra Davaran tengah menjadi perhatian di media sosial setelah menampilkan koleksi gaun bertema anatomi gigi. Bukan sekadar motif, gaun-gaun tersebut benar-benar dihiasi ribuan gigi resin yang disusun menyerupai tekstur enamel hingga bentuk gigi berlubang, menciptakan kesan artistik sekaligus mengundang rasa ngeri bagi sebagian orang yang melihatnya.

Ada sejumlah koleksi yang masing-masing terinspirasi dari bagian-bagian gigi, mulai dari gigi utuh, enamel, karies atau gigi berlubang, akar gigi, hingga tambalan gigi. Seluruh rangkaian koleksinya menggunakan lebih dari 50 ribu gigi resin. Bahkan untuk salah satu gaunnya, hampir seluruh permukaannya tertutup susunan gigi palsu berwarna gading.

Salah satu tampilan paling mencuri perhatian adalah gaun putih krem dengan siluet mengembang, yang seluruh bagian bodice hingga rok dipenuhi gigi-gigi kecil menyerupai susunan molar. Detail itu membuat permukaan gaun tampak seperti lapisan enamel raksasa. Aksen pita di pinggang memberi kontras manis, meski kesan menyeramkan tetap kuat karena tekstur gigi yang mendominasi.

Untukbkoleksi lainnya, model mengenakan busana bernuansa abu-abu dengan detail gigi resin memanjang dari leher ke dada. Potongan ini lebih avant-garde dengan perpaduan jaket berstruktur tegas dan rok bermotif gelap, menciptakan kesan seperti karya seni yang dibawa ke atas runway.

Lalu ada juga gaun hitam metalik yang terinspirasi dari tambalan gigi atau amalgam. Gaun ini tampil dramatis dengan lekukan kain berkilau seperti permukaan logam. Detail butiran putih di bagian tengah gaun menyerupai susunan tambalan gigi yang retak, membuat tampilannya unik namun tetap elegan saat dikenakan model di catwalk.

Sahra mengaku respons banyak orang dengan koleksi ini memang sesuai ekspektasinya. Ia sengaja menciptakan busana yang memancing reaksi beragam, dari kagum hingga merasa jijik.

“Ada yang benar-benar jijik. Ada yang membencinya, dan ada juga yang menyukainya. Itu memang yang saya inginkan,” kata Sahra.

Ide tersebut ternyata berawal dari hal yang tak disengaja. Saat mencari properti daging palsu di platform belanja online untuk proyek lain, justru menampilkan gigi resin.

Dari sana, ia tertarik membeli satu paket dan mulai bereksperimen membuat aksesori kecil sebelum berkembang menjadi koleksi busana penuh. Koleksinya juga terinspirasi dari karies gigi.

“Awalnya saya hanya bereksperimen dengan beberapa gigi untuk perhiasan. Lama-lama saya berpikir, bagaimana kalau seluruh gaun dibangun dari elemen ini,” ungkap Sahra.

Dengan koleksi gaunnya ini, Sahra ingin menunjukkan bahwa sesuatu yang biasanya dianggap menjijikkan justru bisa diolah menjadi karya seni mode. Koleksinya bukan hanya soal estetika, namun juga cara menantang persepsi publik terhadap hal-hal yang dianggap tidak indah.
