Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Malang mulai menyiapkan sejumlah agenda untuk mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan APEKSI tahun 2026. Persiapan itu melibatkan sektor kepemudaan, UMKM hingga pelaku seni budaya lokal.

Kepala Disporapar Kota Malang, Baihaqi mengatakan, dalam waktu dekat Kota Malang akan mengikuti APEKSI Komisariat Wilayah IV di Bali. Setelah itu, agenda berlanjut ke APEKSI Nasional di Medan.

Menurut Baihaqi, Disporapar tidak hanya mengirim delegasi pemerintahan. Kota Malang juga menyiapkan pemuda pelopor hasil seleksi tingkat kota untuk tampil pada dua agenda tersebut.

Selain itu, Pemkot Malang akan membuka stan UMKM dalam pameran yang digelar pada ajang APEKSI di Bali. Produk unggulan daerah bakal dikenalkan kepada peserta dari berbagai pada kegiatan APEKSI Komisariat Wilayah IV di Denpasar, Bali.

“Pemuda-pemuda pelopor sudah kami siapkan melalui proses seleksi tingkat kota,” ujar Baihaqi.

Tak hanya sektor kepemudaan dan UMKM, Disporapar juga menyiapkan pementasan seni budaya. Langkah itu sekaligus menjadi ruang bagi pelaku seni lokal untuk tampil di tingkat nasional.

Tak hanya di Pulau Dewata, pihaknya juga tengah bersiap untuk ajang Apeksi Nasional di Medan. Yakni untuk keikutsertaan dalam pameran produk UMKM dan karnaval budaya.

Baihaqi menjelaskan, konsep pertunjukan budaya masih mengangkat identitas khas Malang. Salah satunya melalui penampilan tari tradisional dan seni topeng.

Disporapar menggandeng Dinas Pendidikan untuk menyiapkan materi pertunjukan budaya tersebut. Nantinya, seni topeng akan dipadukan dengan penampilan budaya lain agar tampil lebih menarik.

“Budaya lokal seperti tarian dan topeng tetap kami kedepankan dengan tema lokal heroic,” kata Baihaqi.

Pemkot Malang berharap keikutsertaan dalam APEKSI bisa menjadi sarana promosi daerah. Tidak hanya promosi pariwisata, tetapi juga penguatan potensi pemuda dan ekonomi kreatif Kota Malang.
