JATIMTIMES - Memasuki usia ke-24 tahun pada 5 Mei 2026, MFM Radio Malang terus menunjukkan eksistensinya di tengah gempuran era digital. Mengusung tema “It’s My Life”, momentum ulang tahun ini bukan sekadar perayaan, radio yang dikenal dengan segmentasi anak muda ini justru melakukan ekspansi dengan meluncurkan konsep baru bertajuk MFM Integrated Media.
Konsep ini dirancang sebagai ekosistem komunikasi terintegrasi yang menggabungkan kekuatan siaran radio, aktivasi brand, serta edukasi publik dalam satu entitas. Dalam struktur baru tersebut, terdapat tiga pilar utama yang menjadi fondasi pengembangan, yakni MFM Radio sebagai kanal on air di frekuensi 101.3 FM.

Di antaranya M-Production yang bergerak di bidang off air event dan brand activation, serta MFM Speak Labyang fokus pada edukasi public speaking, broadcasting, hingga pelatihan MC. Ketiga pilar ini dirancang untuk menjawab kebutuhan audiens dan klien yang semakin kompleks di era multiplatform.
Station Manager MFM Radio, Yosy Beta Vinasari, mengatakan bahwa lahirnya konsep integrated media ini merupakan hasil dari pembacaan terhadap tren pasar yang terus berkembang. Sekaligus melihat tingginya kebutuhan pasar yang terus berkembang.
“Kita melihat kebutuhan audiens dan juga klien itu tinggi. Dari situ kita survei dan akhirnya membentuk satu entitas MFM Integrated Media yang di dalamnya ada tiga pilar. Jadi kita benar-benar menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan yang ada,” ucap Yosy, Selasa (5/5/2026).
Speak Lab sendiri telah mulai diperkenalkan kepada publik sejak Ramadan lalu melalui kelas singkat terbatas. Antusiasme yang tinggi membuat program ini akan dilanjutkan secara reguler mulai semester kedua tahun 2026.
“Waktu Ramadan kemarin kita coba buka sesi dua hari dengan peserta terbatas, hanya 20 orang, dan ternyata responnya bagus. Banyak yang ingin belajar siaran, jadi MC, bahkan sekadar ingin lebih percaya diri. Itu yang kita akomodasi di Speak Lab, dan nanti kelas regulernya kita mulai di semester kedua 2026,” tambahnya.
Selain fokus pada pengembangan program, MFM juga memperkuat strategi distribusi konten melalui pendekatan multiplatform. Tidak hanya mengandalkan siaran radio, MFM aktif membangun interaksi dengan audiens melalui platform digital seperti Instagram, TikTok, hingga YouTube.
Strategi ini memungkinkan MFM menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas, sekaligus mempertahankan kedekatan dengan pendengar setianya yang dikenal sebagai MPeople.
Sementara itu, Direktur 101.3 MFM Radio Malang, Benita Rachmania menegaskan bahwa kekuatan utama MFM selama 24 tahun bertahan adalah konsistensi dan kemampuan beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman.

“Kunci kita bisa bertahan sampai 24 tahun itu konsisten. Memang ada up and down, tapi kita terus menjaga kualitas penyiar, terus mencari talenta muda yang update, dan mengikuti perkembangan digital. Kita tidak bisa memungkiri sekarang ini eranya digital, jadi kita juga masuk ke sana,” jelasnya.
Menurutnya, perjalanan panjang tersebut juga tidak lepas dari berbagai tantangan besar yang sempat dihadapi, termasuk saat pandemi yang berdampak pada industri media dan sektor lainnya.
“Bukan tanpa struggle, pasti ada masa sulitnya, apalagi saat pandemi kemarin. Tapi kita bangkit dengan cara merangkul semua, termasuk media lain, dan membangun suasana kekeluargaan di internal tim. Di sini hubungan antara manajemen dan tim itu seperti keluarga, itu yang membuat kita bisa terus bertahan,” lanjutnya.
Sebagai bentuk perayaan usia ke-24, MFM juga menghadirkan siaran non-stop selama 24 jam penuh, baik di radio maupun melalui platform digital seperti TikTok. Program ini sekaligus menjadi bukti bahwa radio tetap relevan di tengah perkembangan teknologi.
“Kita ingin membuktikan ke masyarakat bahwa radio itu masih ada, masih berkembang, dan tetap eksis. Bahkan kita siaran 24 jam, tidak hanya di radio tapi juga live di TikTok. Ini bentuk komitmen kita untuk terus hadir dan dekat dengan audiens,” tutupnya.
