JATIMTIMES - Layanan SIM Keliling kembali hadir di Kota Malang untuk mempermudah masyarakat dalam melakukan perpanjangan surat izin mengemudi (SIM) selama Mei 2026. Program hadir di dua titik strategis, yakni GOR Ken Arok dan Stadion Gajayana.
Layanan ini hanya hadir pada Rabu dan Jumat. Untuk Rabu, layanan SIM keliling tersedia pada tanggal 6, 13, dan 20 Mei 2026 pukul 08.00 hingga 11.00 WIB di GOR Ken Arok.

Sementara, pada Jumat, yakni tanggal 8, 22, dan 29 Mei 2026, layanan dibuka pukul 08.00 hingga 10.30 WIB di area parkir barat Stadion Gajayana.
Kasat Lantas Polresta Malang Kota Rio Angga Prasetyo mengungkapkan bahwa layanan ini dihadirkan untuk meningkatkan kemudahan akses bagi masyarakat, khususnya warga Kota Malang yang ingin memperpanjang masa berlaku SIM tanpa harus datang ke kantor Satpas SIM.
“Kami menghadirkan layanan SIM keliling ini untuk memberikan kemudahan dan mendekatkan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, sehingga perpanjangan SIM bisa dilakukan lebih cepat dan praktis,” kata Rio.
Sejunlah persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi saat memanfaatkan layanan ini, antara lain fotokopi KTP dan SIM masing-masing tiga lembar, membawa SIM asli, serta melampirkan surat hasil tes psikologi dan surat keterangan sehat. Hanya, layanan ini khusus diperuntukkan bagi pemilik SIM dengan KTP Kota Malang.

Menariknya, pemeriksaan kesehatan dan tes psikologi juga telah disediakan langsung di lokasi SIM keliling. Sehingga pemohon tidak perlu mencari layanan tambahan di tempat lain.
Rio juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk memperhatikan masa berlaku SIM agar tidak terlambat melakukan perpanjangan.
“Kami mengingatkan masyarakat untuk tidak menunggu masa berlaku SIM habis. Manfaatkan layanan SIM keliling sesuai jadwal yang sudah ditentukan,” tutup Rio.
