JATIMTIMES - Salah satu destinasi wisata di Kabupaten Banyuwangi yang buka sejak 2021, Akbar Zoo, ternyata sudah tutup. Hal ini seperti terlihat dari unggahan salah satu wisatawan yang berkunjung ke wisata itu namun sudah sepi tak berpenghuni.
Dalam unggahan yang dibagikan salah satu rombongan wisatawan di TikTok @S_Lemon, tampak Akbar Zoo sudah sepi. Tidak ada petugas yang berjaga di wisata Desa Paspan, Kecamatan Glagah, tersebut.

Meski sepi, beberapa fasilitas kursi di Restoran Akbar Zoo terlihat masih bagus. Diduga kursi dan meja di restoran yang berada di area luar Akbar Zoo tersebut masih belum lama ditinggalkan atau sekitar bulanan belum sampai tahunan.
Sementara di tempat parkir, tampak sampah-sampah daun kering berserakan. Seperti lama tak dibersihkan. Video tersebut hanya memperlihatkan restoran yang ada di area luar Akbar Zoo. Sementara bagian loket masuk tidak diperlihatkan.
Dalam keterangan akun tersebut, dijelaskan Akbar Zoo sudah terbengkalai dan ditinggalkan oleh para karyawannya. Pengunggah mengaku membawa dua rombongan dan hendak berwisata di Akbar Zoo, namun ternyata sudah tutup.
"Akbar Zoo Banyuwangi sekarang kondisinya tak terawat. Ditinggalkan oleh pengunjung dan karyawannya. Padahal mau wisata ini, dua rombongan tapi tidak ada. Angker banget di sini. Kecewa, kecewa," ungkap seorang pria perekam video.
“Suasana parkiran berserakan sampah. Ini hari Minggu, 29 Oktober 2023, tempat parkiran kotor seperti ini. Dan ternyata wisatawan mau masuk libur alias ditutup,” sambungnya.
Sontak unggahan itu pun menuai beragam komentar dari warganet. Beberapa warganet mengungkap dugaan alasan wisata yang baru dibuka 2021 itu tutup.
"Desas desusnya karena perijinan dan pajak," tulis @nanda_gi*****.
"Akbar zoo kan emang udah rencana mau tutup, udah dijual sama yang punya," ucap @cece*****.
"Kita (karyawan) tinggalkan soalnya gaji karyawan gak dibayar sama owner," ujar @aprilian*****.
"Udah pindah tangan kepemilikan itu, soalnya udah pernah dilelang, mungkin nunggu pembukaan lagi," ungkap @N*.

Usut punya usut, wisata Akbar Zoo sudah tutup sejak Agustus 2023. Namun pada 7 Oktober lalu sempat terjadi insiden kebakaran pada atap restoran. Diduga kebakaran terjadi lantaran atap restoran berbahan ijuk sehingga menyulut api.
Sementara listrik di wisata tersebut juga sudah lama diputus oleh pihak PLN. Menurut Kades Paspan Rizal Pahlevi, tempat wisata tersebut sudah tiga bulan ditutup oleh pengelola. Sehingga dalam kurun waktu tersebut, tidak ada pengunjung yang datang ke Akbar Zoo.
"Tinggal beberapa petugas yang bekerja untuk memberi makan satwa-satwa," ungkap Rizal Pahlevi.
Sebelum ditutup oleh pengelola, pernah terjadi insiden anak tenggelam hingga meninggal dunia di kolan renang Akbar Zoo, yakni sekitar Juni 2021 dan Mei 2023.
Sementara itu, Direktur PT Sunber Berkah Akbar Perkasa Nurul Huda sebagai pemilik Akbar Zoo juga pernah tersandung kasus penggelapan pajak sebesar Rp 551 juta pada Juni hingga Desember 2019.
Pajak yang digelapkan oleh Nurul Huda bukanlah pajak penjualan atau pemasukan dari Akbar Zoo, melainkan pajak hasil kerja sama PT SBAP dengan dua kliennya. Akibat penggelapan tersebut, owner Akbar Zoo tersebut dijatuhi hukuman penjara 1 tahun 3 bulan pada Januari 2023. Diduga karena owner Akbar Zoo dijatuhi hukuman penjara ini, wahana wisata itu ditutup.
Sebagai informasi tambahan, Akbar Zoo berdiri di atas lahan seluas sekitar 4 hektare. Di dalamnya selain ada permainan dengan hewan-hewan, juga ada spot foto, outbond seperti flying fox dan ATV hingga kolam renang. Tiket masuk ke Akbar Zoo juga tergolong murah yakni Rp 10 ribu di weekday dan Rp 15 ribu di weekend.
