JATIMTIMES - Sektor pariwisata Jawa Timur menunjukkan tren positif pada April 2026. Jumlah kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara (wisman) melalui Bandara Juanda mencapai 31.339 orang atau meningkat 48,75 persen dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya.
Jika dibandingkan dengan April 2025, jumlah wisman yang datang ke Jawa Timur juga mengalami kenaikan sebesar 26,37 persen. Peningkatan tersebut menambah optimisme terhadap pemulihan sektor pariwisata dan perhotelan di provinsi ini.

Plt. Kepala BPS Provinsi Jawa Timur, Herum Fajarwati, mengungkapkan bahwa kenaikan kunjungan wisatawan asing terjadi cukup signifikan.
"Pada bulan April 2026 jumlah kunjungan wisman ke Jawa Timur melalui pintu masuk Juanda sebanyak 31.339 kunjungan dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 48,75 persen dibandingkan Maret 2026,” ucapnya.
Wisatawan asal Tiongkok masih mendominasi kunjungan ke Jawa Timur dengan jumlah 11.427 orang atau sekitar 36,46 persen dari total wisman. Posisi berikutnya ditempati wisatawan asal Malaysia sebanyak 6.363 kunjungan dan Singapura sebanyak 2.052 kunjungan.
Sementara itu, lonjakan paling tajam terjadi pada wisatawan asal Thailand. Jumlah kunjungan dari negara tersebut meningkat 429,55 persen dibandingkan Maret 2026 dan melonjak 168,79 persen dibandingkan periode yang sama tahun lalu.
Di sisi lain, jumlah perjalanan wisatawan nusantara yang berasal dari Jawa Timur tercatat mencapai 14,73 juta perjalanan pada April 2026. Angka tersebut turun 23,93 persen dibandingkan Maret 2026.
Kota Surabaya menjadi daerah asal perjalanan wisata terbesar dengan 2,27 juta perjalanan atau sekitar 15,42 persen dari total perjalanan wisatawan nusantara dari Jawa Timur. Kabupaten Sidoarjo menyusul di posisi kedua dengan 1,60 juta perjalanan.
Untuk tujuan wisata, Surabaya kembali menjadi daerah yang paling banyak dikunjungi dengan 1,95 juta perjalanan. Kabupaten Sidoarjo berada di posisi kedua dengan jumlah kunjungan mencapai 1,10 juta perjalanan.

Aktivitas pariwisata yang meningkat turut berdampak pada industri perhotelan. Tingkat Penghunian Kamar (TPK) hotel berbintang di Jawa Timur pada April 2026 mencapai 46,80 persen atau naik 3,38 poin dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya.
Herum menambahkan bahwa peningkatan tingkat hunian terjadi pada seluruh klasifikasi hotel berbintang. “Peningkatan TPK bulan April 2026 dipengaruhi oleh peningkatan TPK yang terjadi pada seluruh kelas hotel bintang,” katanya.
Hotel bintang tiga mencatat tingkat hunian tertinggi dengan angka 48,69 persen. Dari sisi wilayah, Kabupaten Gresik menjadi daerah dengan TPK hotel berbintang tertinggi di Jawa Timur, yakni sebesar 73,88 persen.
Sebaliknya, Kabupaten Probolinggo mencatat tingkat hunian hotel berbintang terendah dengan angka 9,10 persen. Kabupaten Trenggalek dan Kabupaten Pasuruan juga masuk dalam tiga daerah dengan tingkat hunian hotel terendah di provinsi ini.
Untuk rata-rata lama menginap wisatawan asing di hotel berbintang Jawa Timur tercatat 1,60 malam. Sementara rata-rata lama menginap seluruh tamu hotel berbintang mencapai 1,35 malam atau sedikit lebih tinggi dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya.
