JATIMTIMES – Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (DPUPR) Kota Batu mulai melakukan pengerjaan fisik pada salah satu proyek strategis daerah (PSD) bernilai fantastis. Pembangunan dan preservasi di kawasan Simpang Patih atau yang akrab dikenal sebagai Simpang Orchid kini telah memasuki tahapan konstruksi dengan nilai anggaran mencapai Rp 10 miliar.

Proyek infrastruktur berskala besar ini ditargetkan dapat selesai secara menyeluruh dalam kurun waktu 150 hari kalender. Aktivitas di lapangan terpantau sudah mulai menyentuh pengerjaan struktur bagian bawah jalan, menyusul langkah Pemerintah Kota Batu yang kian memperketat sistem pengawasan agar pelaksanaan proyek tidak mengalami keterlambatan dari jadwal.

Pada fase awal ini, fokus utama para pekerja di lokasi proyek adalah melakukan pematangan pada lapisan tanah dasar. Setelah seluruh area dipastikan steril dari keberadaan lapak-lapak pedagang, sejumlah alat berat langsung diterjunkan untuk melakukan pengerukan tanah guna menyiapkan landasan fondasi yang kuat sebelum nantinya memasuki tahap pengecoran beton rigid.

Kepala DPUPR Kota Batu, Esty Dwiastuti, menyampaikan bahwa berdasarkan hasil peninjauan berkala, capaian progres pembangunan di lapangan saat ini masih berjalan di jalur yang tepat. Evaluasi ketat sengaja diterapkan sejak dini mengingat proses pengerjaan struktur berikutnya membutuhkan tingkat akurasi dan presisi yang sangat tinggi.

"Evaluasi terakhir menunjukkan progres masih sesuai rencana. Kurva S menjadi acuan untuk memastikan pekerjaan tetap berjalan sesuai target," jelas Esty, belum lama ini.

Esty menjabarkan bahwa skema pengawasan yang dilakukan timnya tidak hanya berfokus pada perkembangan fisik di lapangan semata. Petugas juga memeriksa secara detail tertib administrasi proyek, pemantauan laporan harian serta mingguan, hingga memastikan kesesuaian volume material yang masuk agar sesuai dengan spesifikasi kontrak.

Guna mencegah terjadinya hambatan di tengah jalan, pihak dinas diakui telah memetakan sejumlah potensi kendala yang berpeluang muncul selama masa konstruksi. Beberapa tantangan yang diantisipasi meliputi keberadaan jaringan utilitas bawah tanah seperti pipa air dan kabel, ruang gerak pekerja yang terbatas di area perkotaan, hingga faktor cuaca yang sewaktu-waktu dapat memengaruhi kematangan beton.

"Semua kendala langsung kami koordinasikan bersama pelaksana agar tidak mengganggu target penyelesaian," tambahnya.

Di samping mengejar ketepatan waktu penyelesaian, DPUPR Kota Batu juga menegaskan bahwa standardisasi kualitas bangunan tetap menjadi prioritas yang tidak bisa ditawar.

Pengujian secara berkala terus dilakukan terhadap mutu material yang digunakan, ketebalan serta dimensi beton, kepatuhan para pekerja terhadap aturan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), hingga pengelolaan kebersihan di sekitar lokasi agar tidak mengganggu kenyamanan aktivitas masyarakat luas.
