JATIMTIMES – Akses lalu lintas di kawasan wisata Songgoriti, Kelurahan Songgokerto, Kecamatan Batu, Kota Batu  mengalami gangguan serius pada Minggu (19/6/2026) malam. Sebuah pohon pinus berukuran besar tumbang hingga menutup total badan jalan dan merobohkan fasilitas umum di sekitar lokasi kejadian.

Peristiwa yang terjadi sekitar pukul 21.00 WIB tersebut tepatnya melanda area Jalan Bukit Pinus, RT 04 RW 02, Songgoriti. Pohon jenis pinus yang memiliki ketinggian mencapai 12 meter dengan diameter batang sekitar 60 sentimeter itu ambruk diduga kuat karena kondisi biologis tanaman yang sudah tidak lagi kokoh.

Kepala Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kota Batu, Suwoko, mengonfirmasi bahwa insiden tersebut dipicu oleh kondisi struktur batang pohon yang telah lapuk dimakan usia. Ketika tumbang, batang pohon langsung menyasar jaringan kabel listrik milik PLN yang melintang di tepi jalan.

"Batang pohon yang telah lapuk menjadi penyebab utama tumbangnya pohon pinus setinggi 12 meter tersebut. Pohon itu kemudian menimpa kabel listrik milik PLN sehingga menyebabkan tiang listrik tertarik hingga ambruk dan menutup akses jalan," jelas Suwoko dalam keterangannya, Minggu malam.

Beban berat dari pohon yang tersangkut pada kabel tegangan tinggi tersebut membuat tiang pancang listrik di lokasi tidak kuat menahan tarikan. Akibatnya, tiang beton tersebut ikut roboh dan melintang di tengah jalan bersama material kayu, yang seketika melumpuhkan arus kendaraan yang hendak melintas.

Pihak BPBD Kota Batu memastikan tidak ada korban jiwa maupun luka-luka dalam peristiwa tersebut. Segera setelah menerima laporan dari warga, tim reaksi cepat diterjunkan ke titik koordinat kejadian guna melakukan kaji cepat situasi lapangan.

Langkah evakuasi dan pembersihan material dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan melibatkan berbagai unsur terkait. Petugas dari BPBD Kota Batu bersama personel PLN, Tagana, Agen Informasi Bencana Provinsi Jawa Timur, serta dibantu relawan dan warga setempat langsung bergotong-royong melakukan pemotongan batang pohon menggunakan gergaji mesin.

Selain fokus melakukan pembersihan dan normalisasi jalur, pihak berwenang juga memberikan sejumlah catatan teknis kepada dinas terkait untuk mengantisipasi kejadian serupa. Suwoko merekomendasikan perlunya tindakan preventif berupa pemotongan rutin serta perempesan terhadap pohon-pohon besar yang dinilai sudah rawan tumbang di sepanjang jalur hijau Kota Batu.

"Kami juga mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk selalu berhati-hati dan meningkatkan kewaspadaan, terutama ketika melewati wilayah yang rawan tanah longsor maupun saat terjadi cuaca ekstrem," pungkas Suwoko.
