JATIMTIMES - Memilih pakaian tidak selalu mengikuti tren yang sedang populer. Menurut Desainer Tekstil, Iyonono, memahami bentuk tubuh justru menjadi langkah penting agar seseorang dapat menemukan outfit yang nyaman sekaligus menunjang penampilan.
Ia menilai setiap orang memiliki karakter tubuh yang berbeda sehingga tidak ada satu model pakaian yang cocok untuk semua orang. Karena itu, mengenali proporsi tubuh menjadi kunci untuk memilih busana yang mampu menonjolkan kelebihan sekaligus menyamarkan bagian yang kurang ingin ditampilkan.

“Semua bentuk tubuh itu cantik. Yang terpenting adalah mengenali bentuk badan sendiri sehingga kita bisa lebih percaya diri saat memilih outfit,” kata Iyonono.
Iyonono menjelaskan, secara umum terdapat lima bentuk tubuh yang paling sering ditemui, yakni jam pasir (hourglass), segitiga (triangle), segitiga terbalik (inverted triangle), kotak (square), dan apel (apple).
Untuk bentuk tubuh jam pasir, proporsi bahu dan pinggul cenderung seimbang dengan lekuk pinggang yang jelas. Menurutnya, pemilik bentuk tubuh ini relatif mudah memadukan berbagai jenis pakaian.
“Kalau bentuk tubuh jam pasir, hampir semua model busana bisa dikenakan karena proporsinya sudah seimbang,” imbuh Iyonono.
Sementara itu, pada bentuk tubuh segitiga, ukuran pinggul lebih besar dibandingkan bahu. Agar tampilan terlihat lebih proporsional, ia menyarankan menghindari detail atau aksen yang terlalu menonjol di bagian bawah tubuh.
“Fokuskan aksen atau detail pakaian di bagian atas agar perhatian tidak tertuju pada area pinggul. Cara ini membuat proporsi tubuh terlihat lebih seimbang,” tambahnya.
Berbeda dengan bentuk tubuh segitiga terbalik, di mana bahu tampak lebih lebar dibandingkan pinggul. Untuk tipe ini, Iyonono menyarankan memilih bawahan yang memberikan volume tambahan.
“Pemilik bentuk tubuh segitiga terbalik bisa memakai bawahan bermotif, rok dengan detail ruffle, atau barrel pants untuk memberikan keseimbangan pada siluet tubuh,” jelas Iyonono.

Pada bentuk tubuh kotak, ukuran bahu, pinggang, dan pinggul cenderung sejajar sehingga lekuk tubuh tidak terlalu terlihat. Menurut Iyonono, penggunaan aksesori sederhana dapat membantu menciptakan ilusi bentuk tubuh yang lebih proporsional.
“Sabuk atau ornamen pada bagian pinggang dan pinggul bisa membantu membentuk siluet sehingga tubuh terlihat lebih berlekuk,” ucap Iyonono.
Sementara bagi pemilik bentuk tubuh apel, yang umumnya memiliki bagian tengah tubuh lebih dominan, ia menyarankan memilih pakaian yang tidak terlalu menonjolkan area pinggang.
“Hindari model yang mempertegas pinggang. Midi dress atau motif garis vertikal bisa menjadi pilihan karena memberikan kesan tubuh lebih jenjang dan membantu menyamarkan area tengah,” ucapnya.
Iyonono menegaskan bahwa memahami bentuk tubuh bukan bertujuan membatasi pilihan berpakaian, melainkan membantu setiap orang menemukan gaya yang paling sesuai dengan dirinya.
“Fashion bukan soal mengikuti aturan yang kaku. Yang paling penting adalah memakai pakaian yang membuat kita nyaman dan percaya diri. Ketika kita mengenali bentuk tubuh sendiri, memilih outfit akan jauh lebih mudah dan hasilnya pun lebih maksimal,” tutupnya.
