Ratusan Karyawan PT Fuyuan Situbondo Minta Pemerintah Tidak Tutup Perusahaan

JATIMTIMES – Bupati Situbondo Yusuf Rio Wahyu Prayogo bersama Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) mengunjungi PT Fuyuan Biologi Technology yang terletak di Kecamatan Banyuglugur, Situbondo, pada Jumat (26/6/2026). 

Di balik kunjungan terkait isu dugaan pencemaran laut, ada kegelisahan yang dirasakan ratusan karyawan perusahaan. Mereka berharap persoalan yang tengah ditangani pemerintah dapat segera diselesaikan tanpa mengorbankan keberlangsungan pekerjaan mereka.

Ahmad, salah seorang karyawan PT Fuyuan Biologi Technology, mengatakan kunjungan Bupati Situbondo bersama jajaran Direktorat Pengawasan Sumber Daya Perikanan Ditjen Pengawasan Sumber Daya Kelautan dan Perikanan (PSDKP) KKP memberi harapan agar perusahaan tetap dapat beroperasi. "Harapannya ke depan karyawan tetap bekerja, perusahaan tetap buka seperti biasanya," ujar Ahmad, Sabtu (27/6/2026).

Sebab, kata Ahmad, jika perusahaan terancam tak beroperasi dianggap sangat mengganggu pendapatan dirinya dan keluarganya. "Semoga perusahaan tidak ditutup," ujarnya.

Hal senada juga disampaikan Febri, warga Banyuglugur, yang mengaku telah bekerja di perusahaan pengolahan rumput laut tersebut selama kurang lebih empat tahun. Selama itu, PT Fuyuan menjadi sumber penghasilan bagi dirinya dan keluarganya. "Kurang lebih empat tahun saya bekerja di sini," katanya.

Menurutnya, PT Fuyuan mempekerjakan ratusan karyawan yang sebagian besar merupakan warga Kabupaten Situbondo. Karena itu, operasional perusahaan memiliki dampak langsung terhadap perekonomian masyarakat sekitar. "Setahu saya warga Situbondo semua. Harapannya tetap buka agar kami tetap bisa bekerja," ucapnya.

Keberlangsungan operasional perusahaan, lanjut Febri, bukan sekadar persoalan investasi, tetapi juga menyangkut nafkah ratusan keluarga yang bergantung pada aktivitas pabrik setiap hari.

Sebelumnya, KKP melakukan pengawasan di PT Fuyuan Biologi Technology menyusul dugaan pembuangan limbah melalui pipa yang bermuara ke laut. Tim dari KKP melakukan pemeriksaan lapangan, mengumpulkan data, serta mengambil sampel untuk memastikan ada atau tidaknya pelanggaran terhadap ketentuan lingkungan hidup dan pengelolaan sumber daya kelautan.

Dari hasil inspeksi tersebut, perusahaan diminta melakukan pembenahan terhadap sejumlah sarana dan prasarana pengelolaan limbah dalam waktu 14 hari. Selama masa perbaikan, PT Fuyuan diwajibkan menyampaikan laporan perkembangan setiap hari kepada KKP dan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup (DLH) Kabupaten Situbondo.

Bagi para karyawan, kebijakan pembinaan tersebut diharapkan menjadi jalan tengah yang mampu memastikan kepatuhan perusahaan terhadap aturan lingkungan tanpa menghilangkan mata pencaharian ratusan pekerja lokal yang selama ini menggantungkan hidup pada PT Fuyuan.
