JATIMTIMES - Gempa Pacitan hari ini menjadi trending dalam penelusuran Google setelah guncangannya terasa hingga di sejumlah wilayah Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) dan Jawa Timur, Sabtu (27/6/2026) sore. Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) memastikan gempa tersebut merupakan gempa tektonik yang dipicu aktivitas subduksi lempeng di selatan Pulau Jawa.

BMKG mencatat gempa terjadi pada Sabtu, 27 Juni 2026 pukul 14.47.22 WIB. Hasil analisis terbaru menunjukkan gempa memiliki magnitudo M5,3 dengan kedalaman 53 kilometer.

Episenter gempa berada di laut pada koordinat 9,05° LS dan 111,11° BT, atau sekitar 96 kilometer tenggara Pacitan, Jawa Timur.

Direktur Gempabumi dan Tsunami BMKG, Wijayanto, menjelaskan gempa yang terjadi merupakan gempa tektonik dangkal. "Dengan memperhatikan lokasi episenter dan kedalaman hiposenternya, gempa bumi yang terjadi merupakan jenis gempa bumi dangkal akibat aktivitas subduksi lempeng," ujar Wijayanto dalam keterangan resminya, Sabtu (27/6/2026).

BMKG juga mengungkapkan hasil analisis mekanisme sumber menunjukkan gempa dipicu oleh sesar naik. "Hasil analisis mekanisme sumber menunjukkan bahwa gempa bumi memiliki mekanisme pergerakan naik (thrust fault)," lanjutnya.

Guncangan gempa dirasakan di sejumlah daerah di Jawa Timur maupun DIY dengan intensitas yang berbeda-beda.

BMKG mencatat wilayah Pacitan, Wonogiri, Tulungagung, dan Blitar merasakan gempa dengan intensitas III MMI.

Pada skala tersebut, getaran dirasakan nyata di dalam rumah dan terasa seperti ada truk besar yang melintas.

Sementara itu, guncangan dengan intensitas II MMI dirasakan di Kulon Progo, Bantul, Sleman, Kota Yogyakarta, Trenggalek, Malang, Nganjuk, Magetan, Klaten, Ponorogo, hingga Jember.

Pada skala II MMI, getaran umumnya hanya dirasakan oleh beberapa orang dan benda-benda ringan yang digantung tampak bergoyang.

BMKG memastikan gempa yang mengguncang wilayah selatan Pacitan tersebut tidak berpotensi tsunami. "Hasil pemodelan tsunami menunjukkan bahwa gempa bumi ini TIDAK BERPOTENSI TSUNAMI," tegas Wijayanto.

Meski demikian, BMKG masih terus memantau kemungkinan terjadinya gempa susulan. "BMKG akan terus memonitor aktivitas gempa bumi susulan serta menyampaikan pemutakhiran informasi kepada stakeholder dan masyarakat," kata Wijayanto.

BMKG mengimbau masyarakat agar tetap tenang dan tidak mudah percaya terhadap informasi yang belum terverifikasi. "Tetap tenang dan tidak terpengaruh oleh isu yang tidak dapat dipertanggungjawabkan kebenarannya," imbaunya.

Selain itu, masyarakat diminta menghindari bangunan yang mengalami kerusakan akibat gempa hingga dipastikan aman. "Masyarakat diminta menghindar dari bangunan yang retak atau rusak diakibatkan oleh gempa bumi." tambah Wijayanto. 

BMKG juga mengingatkan masyarakat agar hanya mengikuti informasi resmi yang disampaikan melalui kanal komunikasi resmi BMKG, seperti akun media sosial @infoBMKG, situs resmi BMKG, maupun aplikasi InfoBMKG.
