Sanusi saat ini tengah menunggu arahan lebih lanjut dari pemerintah pusat terkait rencana peresmian Kampung Nelayan Merah Putih (KNMP) di kawasan Pantai Sipelot, Desa Pujiharjo, Kecamatan Tirtoyudo, Kabupaten Malang yang akan dilakukan oleh Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto.

Pihaknya menyebut, menurut informasi terakhir yang diterima oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Malang, peresmian KNMP Pujiharjo di kawasan Pantai Sipelot, Kecamatan Tirtoyudo, Kabupaten Malang rencananya akan dilakukan pada Juli 2026 mendatang. "Rencananya (KNMP Pujiharjo diresmikan) Juli," kata Sanusi.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Perikanan Kabupaten Malang Victor Sembiring menjelaskan, pembangunan KNMP Pujiharjo sepenuhnya dibiayai oleh Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) RI menggunakan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN) sebesar Rp 22 milliar.
Di mana untuk pembangunan fisik KNMP Pujiharjo yang saat ini sudah 100 persen meliputi pembangunan kantor pengelola, cold storage berkapasitas 10 ton, pabrik es, tambat labuh, selter pendaratan ikan hingga sarana prasarana pendukung lainnya yang berfungsi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nelayan.
Di tahun 2026 ini, KKP RI juga akan menambah tiga fasilitas penunjang. Di antaranya Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bakar Umum Nelayan, pengerukan sedimentasi yang ada di muara sungai untuk akses keluar masuk kapal dapat berlangsung mudah, serta pengadaan air bersih.

"KNMP di Pujiharjo yang dibangun oleh Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan RI sudah menunjukkan progres pembangunan 100 persen. Dengan janji Pak Menteri sendiri, kekurangan-kekurangan yang ada akan dicukupi pada tahun 2026 ini," jelas Victor.
Menurutnya, jika beberapa fasilitas tersebut dapat dipenuhi dan dibangun oleh KKP RI dalam waktu dekat, maka akan memperlancar dan mempermudah para nelayan dalam melakukan aktivitas penangkapan sekaligus pendaratan pemasaran ikan dengan baik.
Selain itu, program pengembangan budidaya tematik juga diharapkan dapat diperkuat untuk mendukung kebutuhan Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) dalam penyelenggaraan Progam Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) di Kabupaten Malang secara maksimal.
