JATIMTIMES – Musibah kebakaran hebat melanda sebuah bangunan tempat usaha yang terletak di kawasan Desa Pendem, Kecamatan Junrejo, Kota Batu, Kamis (11/6/2026) malam.
Bangunan yang sehari-hari difungsikan sebagai rumah produksi sablon kaos tersebut ludes dilalap si jago merah.

Kendati mengalami kerusakan parah bangunan, dipastikan tidak ada korban jiwa maupun luka-luka dalam insiden mencekam tersebut. Kepala Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan (Damkarmat) Kota Batu, Agung Sedayu, membeberkan bahwa laporan darurat mengenai amukan api tersebut pertama kali dilaporkan ke Damkarmat sekitar pukul 19.45 WIB.
"Personel kami langsung tancap gas di lapangan dan hanya membutuhkan waktu sekitar 12 menit untuk sampai di Titik Kejadian Kebakaran (TKK)," jelas Agung Sedayu, Jumat (12/6/2026).
Dalam operasi pemadaman kali ini, Damkarmat menerjunkan tim gabungan yang terdiri dari Regu Jaya dan Regu Yudha untuk langsung melakukan teknik isolasi area sensitif.
Langkah isolasi dini tersebut sengaja diambil petugas dengan tujuan utama mengurung pergerakan lidah api agar tidak menjalar ke deretan bangunan lain di sisi kanan maupun kiri lokasi usaha.
Agung menambahkan, banyaknya material produksi konveksi yang bersifat mudah terbakar di dalam ruangan sempat membuat kobaran api melambung tinggi dan kian membesar.
Kondisi tersebut memaksa petugas menerapkan teknik pemadaman khusus, yakni dengan menyemprotkan cairan busa (foam) berkonsentrasi tinggi untuk menundukkan material kimia sablon di dalam bangunan.
"Setelah amukan api utama berhasil dikendalikan, petugas di lapangan langsung melanjutkan proses pendinginan secara menyeluruh untuk memastikan tidak ada lagi bara api tersembunyi yang tersisa," imbuhnya.
Upaya puluhan personel gabungan tersebut akhirnya membuahkan hasil, di mana api baru dinyatakan padam sepenuhnya sekitar pukul 22.50 WIB.

Berdasarkan hasil investigasi sementara di tempat kejadian, petugas menemukan bahwa sumber api disinyalir kuat berasal dari aktivitas pengerjaan di dalam ruang produksi. Agung menjelaskan, percikan api diduga pertama kali muncul akibat malafungsi teknis pada mesin produksi sirup pemanis buatan yang berada di area yang sama.
"Kobaran api dari instalasi mesin produksi sirup itu kemudian merembet dengan sangat cepat ke area ruang produksi sablon kaos karena berada dalam satu sirkulasi bangunan yang terbuka," urai Agung.
Hingga berita ini diturunkan, pihak Damkarmat Kota Batu bersama instansi berwenang lainnya masih terus melakukan proses inventarisasi dan pendataan total kerugian materiil yang diderita pemilik usaha.
Pihak penyelemat juga dilaporkan melayangkan peringatan kepada pelaku usaha dan masyarakat luas agar memperketat kewaspadaan terhadap segala aktivitas domestik yang memicu potensi kebakaran.
"Masyarakat diimbau rutin memeriksa kelayakan instalasi jaringan listrik serta melakukan perawatan berkala pada kondisi mesin produksi, terlebih di tengah fluktuasi cuaca kering yang rawan memicu rambatan api fatal," imbuhnya.
