JATIMTIMES – Upaya meningkatkan budaya literasi dan minat baca masyarakat kembali menggeliat di Kota Kediri melalui kegiatan Festival Literasi 2026 yang berkolaborasi dengan Out of The Box (OOTB) Gudang Buku Keliling 2026 yang digelar di GOR Jayabaya Kota Kediri. Kegiatan ini berlangsung mulai 10 hingga 27 Juni 2026 dan terbuka untuk umum tanpa dipungut biaya masuk.
Selama pelaksanaan, masyarakat dapat mengunjungi pameran buku setiap hari mulai pukul 08.00 hingga 21.00 WIB. OOTB Gudang Buku Keliling 2026 menghadirkan lebih dari 100 penerbit dengan jutaan koleksi buku dari berbagai kategori, mulai dari buku anak, pendidikan, pengembangan diri, novel, sejarah, agama, hingga buku-buku referensi lainnya.

Kepala Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan (Disarpus) Kota Kediri Chevy Ning Suyudi menjelaskan, event ini adalah rangkaian kehadiran OOTB Gudang Buku Keliling menjadi salah satu upaya untuk mendekatkan akses bacaan berkualitas kepada masyarakat sekaligus menumbuhkan kembali kebiasaan membaca di tengah perkembangan teknologi digital yang semakin pesat.
Melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat dapat memperoleh buku dengan harga terjangkau sekaligus menikmati pengalaman berburu buku dalam suasana yang nyaman dan edukatif.
"Event ini adalah rangkaian Festival Literasi 2026. Sebagai untuk mendekatkan akses bacaan berkualitas kepada masyarakat sekaligus menumbuhkan kembali kebiasaan membaca di tengah perkembangan teknologi digital yang semakin pesat," jelasnya.
Manager penjualan PT Mizan Media Utama wilayah Jatim & Intim Iswati menambahkan melalui kegiatan ini, masyarakat dapat memperoleh buku dengan harga terjangkau sekaligus menikmati pengalaman berburu buku dalam suasana yang nyaman dan edukatif. Selain menghadirkan pameran buku, panitia juga menyiapkan berbagai doorprize menarik bagi para pengunjung.
"Hadiah yang disediakan antara lain sepeda gunung, magic com, blender, earbuds, dan berbagai hadiah menarik lainnya. Kesempatan memperoleh doorprize tersebut dapat diikuti oleh pengunjung yang melakukan pengisian data kunjungan di lokasi acara sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku" paparnya.

Untuk semakin memeriahkan suasana, OOTB Gudang Buku Keliling 2026 juga menghadirkan beragam kegiatan pendukung yang melibatkan berbagai komunitas. Sejumlah lomba dan aktivitas kreatif akan digelar selama event berlangsung, sehingga tidak hanya menjadi ajang berburu buku, tetapi juga ruang interaksi, edukasi, dan pengembangan kreativitas masyarakat.
Panitia berharap kegiatan ini dapat menjadi ruang literasi yang inklusif bagi seluruh warga Kota Kediri dan sekitarnya. Selain meningkatkan minat baca, acara ini juga diharapkan mampu membangun kesadaran akan pentingnya literasi sebagai fondasi dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia.
Dengan lokasi yang strategis di GOR Jayabaya dan berbagai program menarik yang ditawarkan, OOTB Gudang Buku Keliling 2026 diharapkan menjadi salah satu agenda literasi terbesar di Kota Kediri tahun ini. Masyarakat pun diundang untuk datang bersama keluarga dan sahabat guna menikmati pengalaman berburu buku sekaligus mengikuti berbagai kegiatan seru yang telah disiapkan panitia.
