JATIMTIMES - Aroma jahe, kayu manis, dan cengkeh yang mengepul dari secangkir kopi menjadi daya tarik tersendiri di Kios Terminal Kota Batu di tengah hawa fenomena bediding. Dari tempat sederhana inilah, Eko Sugiono berhasil mengubah usaha sembako menjadi warung kopi rempah yang kini memiliki pelanggan setia, termasuk para wisatawan.
Selama lebih dari setahun terakhir, Warung Kopi Rempah miliknya menjadi salah satu tempat singgah bagi mereka yang ingin menikmati minuman hangat sambil melepas penat. Tak sedikit pelanggan yang datang kembali untuk menikmati sensasi kopi berpadu dengan aneka rempah khas Nusantara.

Eko mengaku usahanya tersebut lahir dari keinginan mencari peluang baru setelah usaha sembako yang dijalankannya kurang berkembang. Ia pun mencoba menghadirkan konsep berbeda dengan menawarkan minuman berbahan alami yang cocok dinikmati di tengah udara dingin Kota Batu.
“Warung ini baru buka 13 bulan. Dulunya saya berjualan sembako. Karena kurang ramai makanya saya beralih jualan kopi rempah,” kata Eko Sugiono.
Pilihan menu yang ditawarkan cukup beragam. Selain wedang jahe dan kunyit asam, menu andalan yang paling banyak dicari pelanggan adalah kopi rempah. Eko menyediakan dua jenis racikan yang memiliki cita rasa dan kandungan rempah berbeda.
Untuk varian reguler, kopi dipadukan dengan beberapa bahan herbal seperti jahe, kencur, dan temu kunci. Sedangkan pada varian komplet, campuran rempah yang digunakan lebih kaya dengan tambahan kayu manis, kapulaga, cengkeh, hingga pala yang memberikan aroma khas dan rasa lebih kuat.
“Kopi rempah komplet terdiri dari kayu manis, kapulaga, cengkeh, jahe, dan pala. Untuk pelanggan cukup lumayan, pelanggan ini mesti balik lagi gitu,” imbuh Eko.
Menurut Eko, seluruh bahan yang digunakan merupakan rempah alami tanpa campuran perisa buatan. Hal itu sengaja dipertahankan agar manfaat dari empon-empon yang terkandung di dalam minuman tetap terjaga.

“Antara kopi rempah biasa dan yang lengkap, semua produk menggunakan bahan alami dan herbal,” tegasnya.
Tak hanya menawarkan minuman tradisional dengan sentuhan modern, harga yang dibanderol pun cukup terjangkau. Pengunjung hanya perlu merogoh kocek mulai Rp5 ribu hingga Rp 19 ribu untuk menikmati berbagai menu yang tersedia.
Warung Kopi Rempah buka setiap hari mulai pukul 08.00 WIB hingga 19.00 WIB. Jam operasional tersebut membuat tempat ini ramai didatangi pelanggan sejak pagi hingga menjelang malam. Sebagian datang untuk sarapan, sebagian lainnya sengaja mampir selepas beraktivitas atau setelah berwisata di Kota Batu.
Di tengah menjamurnya kedai kopi modern, keberadaan Warung Kopi Rempah justru menghadirkan suasana berbeda. Aroma jahe, kayu manis, dan cengkeh yang mengepul dari cangkir-cangkir minuman hangat menjadi daya tarik tersendiri, terutama bagi wisatawan yang ingin menikmati hawa dingin Kota Batu dengan cara yang lebih tradisional.
