JATIMTIMES - DPC PDI Perjuangan Jember memperingati Hari Lahir Pancasila dengan menggelar upacara bersama warga di kawasan permukiman Karang Mluwo, Kelurahan Mangli, Kecamatan Kaliwates, Jember , Senin (1/6/2026).
Kegiatan yang berlangsung pada siang hari itu diikuti jajaran pengurus partai serta masyarakat setempat. Ketua DPC PDI Perjuangan Jember , Widarto, bertindak sebagai pemimpin upacara.

Dalam amanatnya, Widarto menekankan pentingnya mengimplementasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, bukan sekadar menghafal atau memahami konsepnya secara teoritis.
"Pancasila itu, jika di 'peras' dan disederhanakan, menjadi Tri Sila, dan disederhanakan lagi, menjadi Eka Sila, yang mana artinya adalah kerja sama atau gotong royong," ujar Widarto.
Menurutnya, tantangan yang dihadapi masyarakat saat ini adalah bagaimana menjadikan nilai gotong royong sebagai tindakan nyata yang dirasakan langsung manfaatnya oleh masyarakat.
"Gotong royong tidak hanya sekedar slogan atau bunyi-bunyian, tapi harus dibuktikan dengan tindakan nyata, karena idiologi harus membumi, pejabat harus bersatu bersama rakyat," tegasnya.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Widarto juga menjelaskan bahwa Pancasila memiliki dua fungsi utama, yakni sebagai dasar negara dan sebagai pandangan hidup bangsa yang menjadi pedoman dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, dan bernegara.

Usai upacara, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan kerja bakti membersihkan lingkungan dan mengangkut sampah di sekitar permukiman warga. Aksi tersebut diikuti peserta upacara yang berasal dari sejumlah Pengurus Anak Cabang (PAC), di antaranya Kecamatan Kaliwates, Patrang, Sumbersari, Ajung, dan Sukorambi.
Kerja bakti dipilih sebagai bentuk implementasi nilai gotong royong sekaligus respons terhadap persoalan pengelolaan sampah yang menjadi perhatian masyarakat.
"Salah satu contoh nyata kami adalah, terjun bersama masyarakat, untuk membersihkan sampah, apalagi saat ini sampah menjadi permasalahan utama, seiring dengan aturan pengelolaan sampah secara mandiri," pungkasnya.(*)
