JATIMTIMES - Sesi Free Practice 1 (FP1) Moto3 Italia 2026 telah digelar di Sirkuit Mugello, Jumat (29/5/2026). Pebalap Leopard Racing, Adrian Fernandez, tampil sebagai yang tercepat dalam sesi pembuka tersebut.

Sementara itu, pebalap muda Indonesia Veda Ega Pratama harus puas mengakhiri sesi di posisi ke-20.

Fernandez mencatatkan waktu terbaik 2 menit 09,930 detik. Rider asal Spanyol itu unggul atas Joel Esteban yang finis kedua dengan selisih tipis.

Posisi ketiga ditempati Maximo Quiles dari CFMoto Gaviota Aspar Team. Sementara dua posisi berikutnya diisi Brian Uriarte dan Cormac Buchanan.

Di sisi lain, Veda Ega masih belum menemukan ritme terbaiknya di Mugello. Pebalap Honda Team Asia itu membukukan waktu 2 menit 12,954 detik.

Meski belum masuk 10 besar, Veda masih punya kesempatan memperbaiki catatan waktunya pada sesi berikutnya demi mengamankan posisi lebih baik menuju kualifikasi.

Sesi FP1 juga diwarnai insiden kecil yang dialami pebalap Malaysia Hakim Danish. Rider AEON Credit-MT Helmets MSI itu sempat terjatuh sekitar enam menit sebelum sesi berakhir. Meski begitu, ia tetap mampu menutup latihan di posisi kedelapan.
