JATIMTIMES - Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian (Dispangtan) Kota Malang memastikan hewan kurban yang dijual di berbagai lapak dalam kondisi sehat. Dari hasil pemeriksaan antemortem yang dilakukan pada 22 hingga 26 Mei 2026, tidak ditemukan hewan cacat maupun terindikasi penyakit menular.
Kabid Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan Dispangtan Kota Malang, Anton Pramujiono, mengatakan pemeriksaan dilakukan di 107 lapak penjualan hewan kurban. Jumlah tersebut hampir sama dengan tahun lalu yang mencapai 110 lapak.

“Dari hasil pemeriksaan kemarin, didapatkan alhamdulillah semuanya sehat rata-rata. Jadi kemarin sudah dikasihkan stiker sehat, sehingga harapannya para pembeli yang mulai kemarin itu sudah bisa aman untuk membeli hewan kurbannya,” ujar Anton, Rabu (27/5/2026).
Menurut dia, tren penjualan hewan kurban tahun ini mengalami perubahan. Jumlah sapi meningkat cukup signifikan dibanding tahun sebelumnya, sementara kambing justru menurun.
Dispangtan Kota Malang mencatat jumlah sapi yang diperiksa mencapai 227 ekor. Angka itu naik dari tahun lalu yang sebanyak 145 ekor. Sementara kambing turun dari 4.341 ekor menjadi 3.296 ekor. Untuk domba, jumlahnya relatif stabil di kisaran 128 ekor.
“Kalau kambing turun, sehingga mungkin sekarang ini trennya lebih banyak ke sapi,” katanya.
Anton memastikan seluruh hewan yang dijual di lapak dalam kondisi layak. Menurutnya, para pedagang kini semakin sadar untuk tidak menjual hewan sakit maupun cacat.
“Kalau sudah ada yang sakit, itu sudah enggak dijual lagi. Jadi begitu datang ada yang kelihatan cacat atau sakit, itu mungkin langsung dibawa balik ke asalnya,” ucapnya.

Ia menambahkan, sebagian besar hewan kurban yang masuk ke Kota Malang berasal dari Madura dan Kabupaten Malang. Sedangkan pasokan dari peternak dalam Kota Malang diperkirakan hanya sekitar 10 hingga 20 persen.
Selain pemeriksaan langsung di lapak, pengawasan lalu lintas ternak juga dilakukan melalui aplikasi milik Kementerian Pertanian. Melalui sistem tersebut, ternak yang masuk ke Kota Malang wajib dilengkapi surat keterangan kesehatan hewan dari daerah asal.
“Setelah kita rekom oke dengan syarat sudah divaksin, terus hewan dalam kondisi sehat, mereka bisa membawa ke sini,” kata Anton.
Ia berharap kesadaran pedagang untuk menjaga kesehatan hewan kurban terus meningkat agar kualitas ternak yang dijual semakin baik dari tahun ke tahun.
