JATIMTIMES – Memasuki bulan Zulhijjah, Pemerintah Kota Batu melalui Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan (Distan-KP) mulai melakukan cek kesehatan hewan kurban. Pemkot juga memperketat pengawasan lalu lintas ternak menjelang Hari Raya Idul Adha 2026 dengan menyisir lapak-lapak penjualan secara bertahap.
Langkah taktis ini diambil guna memastikan seluruh hewan kurban yang dipasarkan di Kota Batu benar-benar aman dari potensi penularan penyakit seperti Penyakit Mulut dan Kuku (PMK). Pemeriksaan berkala yang melibatkan lima dokter hewan tersebut menyasar sejumlah titik strategis, di antaranya lapak di kawasan Jalan Patimura dan Jalan Sultan Agung, Kota Batu.

Terbaru, pemeriksaan dilakukan di lapak kambing kurban Jalan Sultan Agung dan Jalan Pattimura, Selasa (19/5/2026). Tim memeriksa fisik ternak satu per satu, memberikan pasokan vitamin, serta memasang tanda khusus berupa keplek sehat pada telinga hewan yang lolos uji medis.
“Pengecekan dilakukan untuk menjaga stabilitas status zona aman penularan penyakit menular pada hewan di wilayah kita,” ujar Plt. Wali Kota Batu, Heli Suyanto, saat memantau jalannya pemeriksaan di lapangan, Selasa (19/5/2026).
Pemerintah daerah memberlakukan regulasi ketat bagi para pedagang yang mendatangkan stok hewan kurban dari luar daerah, terutama dari wilayah perbatasan (border) seperti Kabupaten Malang, Blitar, Mojokerto, dan Pasuruan.
Setiap pasokan ternak yang masuk wajib menyertakan dokumen resmi untuk menjamin keamanan dan higienitas sebelum dipasarkan ke masyarakat.
“Untuk hewan kurban yang datang dari luar kota atau luar kabupaten, kami wajibkan menanyakan Surat Keterangan Kesehatan Hewan (SKKH) dari dokter hewan daerah asal,” tutur Heli.

Sejauh ini, tim medis Dinas Pertanian memastikan hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium lapangan pada kambing maupun domba di lapak-lapak protokol menunjukkan tren yang sangat bagus. Petugas belum menemukan adanya indikasi gejala klinis penyakit menular.
Pengecekan ini dipastikan akan terus berlanjut pada fase antemortem (sebelum pemotongan) hingga pengawasan langsung oleh 300 tim gabungan di tempat penyembelihan saat hari H Idul Adha.
“Jika nanti di lapangan ditemukan ada pasokan ternak dari luar daerah yang masuk tanpa dilengkapi SKKH, maka petugas akan langsung menyuruh kembali untuk melengkapi surat tersebut,” pungkas Heli.
