JATIMTIMES - Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Malang mengutamakan anak putus sekolah dan masuk dalam kategori desil satu maupun dua pada Data Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (DTSEN ) untuk diusulkan menjadi calon siswa Sekolah Rakyat Kabupaten Malang.
Desil sendiri merupakan pengelompokan masyarakat yang dilihat dari tingkat kesejahteraan ekonomi dengan pembagian 10 kelompok. Di mana terdapat beberapa indikator penilaian untuk mengelompokkan kondisi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Mulai dari pekerjaan, penghasilan, pengeluaran, kepemilikan aset, kondisi rumah, pendidikan, serta indikator sosial ekonomi lainnya.

Untuk desil satu sangat miskin atau miskin ekstrem, desil dua miskin, desil tiga hampir miskin, desil empat rentan miskin, desil lima menengah bawah, desil enam menengah, desil tujuh menengah atas, desil delapan mapan, desil sembilan kaya dan desil 10 sangat kaya.
Kepala Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Malang Pantjaningsih Sri Redjeki menyampaikan, bahwa berdasarkan data verifikasi lapangan yang dilakukan oleh para pendamping Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) dengan mengacu pada DTSEN didapatkan data 130.221 anak masuk dalam kategori usia sekolah.
Perempuan yang akrab disapa Pantja ini menjelaskan, dari 130.221 anak berusia sekolah tersebut, terbagi ke dalam beberapa kategori. Yakni sebnayak 64.707 anak aktif bersekolah mulia dari jenjang TK, SD, SMP hingga SMA atau sederajat. Sedangkan sebanyak 65.514 anak sudah tidak aktif bersekolah.
"Kami mengutamakan anak yang putus sekolah untuk bisa melanjutkan pendidikan di Sekolah Rakyat," ungkap Pantja.
Ia menyebutkan, selain diutamakan anak putus sekolah dan berada dalam kategori desil satu maupun dua, terdapat persyaratan usia untuk bisa menjadi calon siswa Sekolah Rakyat. Yakni usia untuk masuk Sekolah Rakyat pada jenjang SD yakni minimal tujuh tahun dan maksimal 12 tahun.

Sedangkan untuk jenjang SMP maksimal berusia 15 tahun dan sudah lulus SD atau sederajat. Untuk calon siswa pada jenjang SMA, berusia maksimal 21 tahun dan lulus SMP atau sederajat. Di man untuk kelulusan itu dibuktikan dengan ijazah, surat keterangan lulus atau dokumen pendukung lainnya yang menyatakan kelulusan calon siswa tersebut.
"Sampai dengan tanggal 8 Mei 2026, jumlah usulan calon siawa ada 230 siswa. Itu berdasarkan penjaringan calon siswa dari Sekolah Rakyta oleh pendamping PKH di 33 kecamatan," beber Pantja.
Lebih lanjut Pantja juga menambahkan, bahwa pembangunan Sekolah Rakyat permanen di Desa Srigonco, Kecamatan Bantur, Kabupaten Malang saat ini masih dalam proses pembangunan. Ditargerkan pada pertengahan tahun 2026 nanti, pembangunan Sekolah Rakyat selesai dan dapat beroperasi pada Juli 2026 mendatang.
