JATIMTIMES - Dugaan belum lengkapnya sejumlah perizinan hotel yang menyeret nama Aston Malang Hotel & Conference Center mendapat tanggapan langsung dari manajemen hotel. Pihak hotel memastikan operasional tetap berjalan seperti biasa, sementara lantai tambahan yang menjadi sorotan masih belum digunakan dan tengah diproses kelengkapan administrasinya.

Hal ini diungkapkan General Manager Aston Malang Hotel & Conference Center, Ferdian Indrayana, Selasa (12/5/2026). Ia menjelaskan bahwa isu yang berkembang hanya menyangkut satu unit properti di Kota Malang.

“Isu administratif ini bersifat lokal dan spesifik hanya pada unit Aston Malang Hotel & Conference Center,” kata Ferdian.

Masing-masing properti Aston dikelola oleh perusahaan pemilik yang berbeda, sehingga persoalan administrasi di satu lokasi tidak bisa disamakan dengan hotel Aston lainnya. “Untuk hotel di bawah brand Aston memiliki entitas pemilik yang berbeda-beda, sehingga persoalan ini tidak memiliki kaitan dengan legalitas hotel-hotel lain di bawah brand Aston,” kata Ferdian.

Salah satu poin yang menjadi perhatian, lanjutnya adalah adanya lantai tambahan pada bangunan hotel yang saat ini masih dalam tahap penyempurnaan dokumen administrasi. Meski demikian, pihak manajemen menegaskan area tersebut belum difungsikan untuk kegiatan operasional apa pun.

“Hingga saat ini, tidak ada kegiatan operasional, aktivitas komersial, maupun layanan tamu yang dilakukan di lantai tersebut. Proses administratif sedang ditempuh secara aktif melalui koordinasi intensif dengan pihak terkait,” imbuhnya.

Pihaknya tetap berkomitmen mematuhi seluruh regulasi yang berlaku di Kota Malang, termasuk aturan terkait bangunan dan izin usaha. Ia menyebut keselamatan, keamanan, dan kenyamanan tamu menjadi prioritas utama selama hotel beroperasi.

“Operasional utama hotel telah berjalan sesuai izin dan regulasi yang berlaku. Kami senantiasa menjunjung tinggi kepatuhan terhadap hukum serta peraturan dari Pemerintah Kota Malang,” tegasnya.
