JATIMTIMES - Pebalap muda Indonesia Veda Ega Pratama kembali bersiap tampil di ajang Moto3 GP Prancis 2026. Rider Honda Team Asia itu dijadwalkan turun balapan di Sirkuit Le Mans, Minggu (10/5/2026) sore WIB.

Balapan Moto3 GP Prancis 2026 akan dimulai pukul 16.00 WIB dan disiarkan langsung melalui Trans7. Race ini juga bisa disaksikan lewat layanan streaming Vidio, Vision+, dan SpoTV.

Veda dipastikan memulai balapan dari posisi keenam atau baris kedua. Hasil tersebut menjadi modal apik bagi rider berusia 17 tahun itu untuk bersaing di papan depan. Sementara pole position ditempati pebalap Spanyol, Adrian Fernandez.

Diketahui, performa Veda Ega sepanjang musim Moto3 2026 cukup menjanjikan. Dari empat seri yang sudah berlangsung, pebalap asal Gunungkidul itu beberapa kali mampu finis di posisi kompetitif. Ia sempat meraih podium ketiga saat tampil di GP Brasil. Setelah itu, Veda finis kelima di GP Thailand dan menempati posisi keenam di GP Spanyol.

Satu-satunya hasil kurang maksimal datang saat GP Amerika Serikat ketika dirinya gagal menyelesaikan balapan. Catatan itu membuat nama Veda mulai diperhitungkan dalam persaingan Moto3 musim ini.

Untuk diketahui, Le Mans bukan lintasan asing bagi Veda. Sebelumnya, ia pernah tampil di sirkuit tersebut saat mengikuti Red Bull Rookies Cup. Kala itu, Veda mampu finis keenam pada race pertama dan menutup race kedua di posisi kesembilan. Bekal pengalaman tersebut membuat Veda cukup percaya diri menghadapi balapan akhir pekan ini.

"Saya akan memulai balapan dari row kedua, jadi tentunya posisi start yang bagus. Row kedua membantu saya untuk menjalani balapan besok (hari ini)," kata Veda Ega seperti dikutip dari SpoTV.

Pebalap Honda Team Asia itu juga mengaku optimistis menghadapi balapan, termasuk kemungkinan cuaca hujan di Le Mans.

"Saya merasa sangat confident, pada diri saya dan motor, siap untuk memulai race di hari Minggu besok. Meski sepertinya akan hujan, sepertinya saya akan siap menjalani balapan yang kondisinya belum tahu ini," ujar Veda.
