JATIMTIMES - Atmosfer Stadion Kanjuruhan akhirnya kembali berpihak kepada Arema FC. Setelah dihantam dua kekalahan beruntun di kandang, Singo Edan sukses melampiaskan amarahnya dengan membungkam PSM Makassar tiga gol tanpa balas dalam lanjutan BRI Super League, Sabtu (9/5/2026) sore.
Kemenangan telak ini menjadi sinyal kebangkitan Arema FC yang tampil lebih agresif, efektif, sekaligus percaya diri di hadapan ribuan Aremania.

Arema FC maupun PSM Makassar sama-sama bermain terbuka dengan tekanan cepat dari lini depan. Kedua tim silih berganti membangun serangan dan mencoba membongkar pertahanan lawan.
Namun, Singo Edan lebih dulu menemukan celah. Pada menit ke-10, Gabriel Silva melakukan penetrasi berbahaya dengan melewati tiga pemain sebelum dijatuhkan Yuran Fernandes di kotak terlarang. Wasit langsung menunjuk titik putih.
Dalberto Luan yang dipercaya sebagai algojo menjalankan tugasnya dengan sempurna. Tendangannya tak mampu dibendung kiper PSM Makassar dan membawa Arema unggul 1-0.
Tertinggal satu gol membuat tim tamu tampil lebih berani menyerang. Kecepatan Victor Dethan dan Rizky Eka beberapa kali merepotkan pertahanan Arema FC, terutama melalui skema serangan dari sisi sayap.

Arema FC tak tinggal diam. Tim asuhan Marcos Santos beberapa kali mencoba menghukum lawan lewat serangan balik cepat dengan umpan langsung dari lini belakang ke sektor depan. Hingga turun minum, skor 1-0 tetap bertahan untuk keunggulan tuan rumah.
Memasuki babak kedua, permainan Arema FC berubah semakin solid. Kombinasi umpan cepat dan permainan kolektif membuat tekanan kepada PSM Makassar semakin sulit dibendung.
Gabriel Silva kembali menjadi momok bagi lini belakang lawan pada menit ke-53. Memanfaatkan umpan matang dari Joel Vinicius, pemain asal Brasil itu sukses menggandakan keunggulan menjadi 2-0.

Dominasi Arema FC makin sempurna setelah Joel Vinicius ikut mencatatkan namanya di papan skor pada menit ke-69. Gol ketiga tersebut praktis meruntuhkan mental pemain PSM Makassar.
Unggul nyaman tiga gol membuat Singo Edan memilih bermain lebih disiplin pada sisa pertandingan. Strategi menunggu lewat serangan balik membuat PSM kesulitan menciptakan peluang bersih hingga laga berakhir.
Pelatih Arema FC Marcos Santos mengaku lega melihat respons para pemain setelah sebelumnya mengalami hasil buruk di kandang sendiri. “Saya tahu ada masalah mental setelah dua kekalahan kandang sebelumnya. Tapi di babak pertama kami bisa membuka keunggulan dan tim menunjukkan performa luar biasa,” ujarnya.
Menurut Marcos Santos, perubahan strategi saat jeda pertandingan menjadi kunci meningkatnya permainan Arema FC pada babak kedua. Ia juga mempersembahkan kemenangan tersebut untuk Aremania yang terus memberikan dukungan.
“Para pemain layak mendapatkan kemenangan ini karena mereka bekerja keras dan punya dedikasi tinggi untuk Arema,” katanya.
Sementara itu, pemain Arema FC Julian Guevara menilai kemenangan atas PSM Makassar menjadi momentum penting kebangkitan tim. “Ini pertandingan sulit, PSM berjuang di zona degradasi. Tapi kami menunjukkan bahwa kami bisa bangkit setelah mengalami dua kekalahan beruntun,” ujarnya.
