JATIMTIMES - Update terbaru erupsi Gunung Dukono di Kabupaten Halmahera Utara mengungkap identitas salah satu pendaki yang ditemukan meninggal dunia usai sempat dilaporkan hilang saat aktivitas vulkanik meningkat pada Jumat pagi, 8 Mei 2026.

Korban diketahui bernama Angel, seorang perempuan asal Jayapura yang disebut telah lama tinggal di Ternate. Informasi tersebut disampaikan Kapolres Halmahera Utara, Erlichson Pasaribu.

“Korban bernama Angel, warga Jayapura yang sudah lama di Ternate,” ujar Erlichson pada Jumat (8/5/2026).

Sebelumnya, dua pendaki warga negara asing asal Singapura juga ditemukan meninggal dunia dalam insiden tersebut. Keduanya diketahui bernama Timo dan Sahnas.

Berdasarkan data sementara, total terdapat 20 pendaki yang berada di kawasan gunung saat erupsi terjadi. Sebanyak 15 orang berhasil selamat dan telah dievakuasi menuju pos pengamatan di Desa Mamuya, Kecamatan Galela.

Sementara itu, dua korban selamat lainnya memilih membantu tim SAR gabungan untuk proses evakuasi para korban meninggal dunia yang hingga kini masih berada di area puncak gunung.

Cuaca buruk menjadi kendala utama dalam proses evakuasi. Hujan yang masih mengguyur kawasan puncak membuat tim SAR harus menunggu kondisi lebih aman sebelum mengevakuasi jenazah.

Kapolres Halmahera Utara menjelaskan, jarak dari pos pengamatan Gunung Dukono menuju lokasi ditemukannya korban diperkirakan lebih dari 10 kilometer.

“Semua sudah ter-cover, tinggal yang meninggal yang mau dievakuasi, namun menunggu situasi,” kata Erlichson.

Berikut daftar pendaki WNA yang selamat:

• TYME, laki-laki, 30 tahun

• OSS, perempuan, 37 tahun

• PL, perempuan, 33 tahun

• LHEI, perempuan, 31 tahun

• TJYG, perempuan, 30 tahun

• LYXV, perempuan, 30 tahun

• LSD, laki-laki, 29 tahun

Sedangkan pendaki WNI yang berhasil selamat terdiri dari:

• BB, laki-laki, 24 tahun

• Y, laki-laki, 23 tahun

• S, laki-laki, 26 tahun

• A, laki-laki, 22 tahun

• H, laki-laki, 26 tahun

• FN, perempuan, 27 tahun

• RI, perempuan, 29 tahun

Hingga Jumat sore, tim SAR gabungan masih bersiaga di sekitar kawasan Gunung Dukono sambil menunggu kondisi cuaca membaik untuk melanjutkan proses evakuasi korban.
