Ratusan Kicau Mania Antusias Perebutkan Piala Disparbud Kabupaten Malang di Gantangan Wijaya Kusuma Dau

JATIMTIMES – Ratusan pencinta burung berkicau atau kicau mania memadati Rest Area Sumber Sekar, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang, Minggu (3/5/2026). Gelaran lomba kicau Grand Opening Gantangan Wijaya Kusuma menarik antusiasme tinggi, memperebutkan Piala Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan (Disparbud) Kabupaten Malang.

Kompetisi berskala regional ini menjadi magnet bagi para penghobi burung karena menyajikan berbagai kategori kelas dengan total hadiah jutaan rupiah. Selain sebagai ajang prestasi, acara ini ditujukan untuk mempererat tali silaturahmi antar komunitas burung berkicau di wilayah Malang Raya dan sekitarnya.

Beberapa kelas utama yang dipertandingkan antara lain Kelas Sekda dengan tiket Rp250 ribu yang memperebutkan hadiah utama Rp2,3 juta. Disusul Kelas Kadisparbud dengan tiket Rp220 ribu, serta jajaran kelas lainnya seperti Kelas Camat, Kelas Kades, Kelas Wijaya Kusuma, hingga Kelas J Water dengan harga tiket yang lebih terjangkau.

Panitia pelaksana menyediakan berbagai kategori jenis burung yang dilombakan, mulai dari Murai Batu, Anis Merah, Cucak Hijau, Cendet, Kacer, hingga Kenari. Tidak hanya kelas reguler, panitia juga membuka jadwal khusus untuk komunitas burung seperti Sogon, Pleci, Konin, Prenjak Merah, hingga Branjangan.

Ketua panitia, Bowo, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini didukung penuh oleh berbagai pihak, termasuk Disparbud Kabupaten Malang dan media partner JatimTIMES. Selain hadiah uang tunai dan trofi, peserta juga berkesempatan mendapatkan berbagai doorprize menarik, termasuk hadiah utama berupa dua ekor kambing yang akan diundi di akhir acara.

"Kami ingin memberikan wadah yang representatif bagi para kicau mania untuk melatih dan menguji kualitas burung jawaranya. Lokasi di Rest Area Sumber Sekar ini sengaja dipilih karena aksesnya yang mudah dan suasananya yang mendukung," jelasnya.

Lomba yang dimulai sejak pukul 09.00 WIB ini menerapkan sistem penilaian yang ketat dan transparan guna menjaga sportivitas antar peserta. Hingga siang hari, terlihat antusiasme tinggi dari para peserta yang datang dari berbagai pelosok daerah di Jawa Timur hingga luar Jatim seperti Bekasi.

Selain sisi kompetisi, agenda ini juga memberikan dampak ekonomi positif bagi pelaku UMKM di sekitar Rest Area Sumber Sekar. Perwakilan Gantangan Wijaya Kusuma, Muslimin, berharap kehadiran Gantangan Wijaya Kusuma dapat menjadi sentra baru bagi pengembangan hobi burung berkicau di Kabupaten Malang. Hal ini sejalan dengan upaya pemerintah daerah dalam mendorong sektor pariwisata berbasis hobi dan komunitas.

"Setiap Minggu ada latihan bersama di sini. Khusus untuk para kicau mania dan sekaligus mendukung pariwisata segmen penghobi burung di Kabupaten Malang dan sekitarnya," ujar Muslimin.

Bagi masyarakat yang ingin memantau jalannya perlombaan atau melihat hasil juara, informasi lengkap terus diperbarui oleh panitia melalui tim teknis di lapangan hingga seluruh sesi lomba berakhir sore nanti.
