JATIMTIMES - Pernyataan Amien Rais tengah menjadi sorotan publik setelah video yang diunggah di kanal YouTube pribadinya viral di media sosial. Dalam video tersebut, Amien menyinggung hubungan Prabowo Subianto dengan Teddy Indra Wijaya dan memicu kontroversi luas.

Video yang diunggah melalui kanal YouTube @AmienRaisOfficial itu menjadi perbincangan hangat setelah potongannya tersebar di berbagai platform media sosial. Dalam pernyataannya, Amien menilai kedekatan Prabowo dan Teddy telah melampaui batas hubungan profesional.

Ia juga menyebut tudingannya didasarkan pada opini masyarakat yang berkembang di ruang publik. Selain itu, Amien meminta Presiden Prabowo mengambil tindakan tegas terhadap Teddy.

Tak hanya itu, Amien turut menyinggung kisah kaum Nabi Luth dan mengaitkannya dengan isu moralitas di lingkungan Istana. Pernyataan tersebut kemudian menuai kritik dari berbagai kalangan karena dinilai tidak berdasar dan berpotensi memicu polemik.

Menanggapi hal itu, Menteri Komunikasi dan Digital Meutya Hafid menyatakan isi video tersebut mengandung unsur fitnah, pembunuhan karakter, serta serangan personal kepada Presiden.

"Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital telah mengidentifikasi sebaran video yang memuat narasi fitnah, pembunuhan karakter dan serangan personal yang ditujukan kepada Presiden RI," ujar Meutya dalam pernyataan yang dibagikan di akun Instagram @kemkomdigi, Sabtu (2/5/2026) .

Ia menegaskan narasi dalam video tersebut merupakan hoaks dan ujaran kebencian yang berpotensi memecah belah masyarakat.

"Komdigi menegaskan bahwa isi video tersebut adalah hoaks, fitnah serta mengandung ujaran kebencian. Narasi yang dibangun merupakan upaya merendahkan martabat Pimpinan Tertinggi Negara, tidak memiliki dasar fakta serta bagian upaya provokasi untuk menciptakan kegaduhan publik," lanjutnya.

Meutya juga menekankan bahwa ruang demokrasi digital seharusnya menjadi tempat adu gagasan, bukan sarana menyerang martabat seseorang.

"Ruang demokrasi digital adalah ruang adu gagasan, bukan ruang memproduksi konten kebencian yang menyerang martabat manusia manapun," katanya.

Selain itu, Meutya menyebut Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital akan mengambil langkah sesuai ketentuan hukum yang berlaku. Pihak yang memproduksi maupun menyebarluaskan konten serupa secara sadar disebut berpotensi melanggar Undang-Undang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik (UU ITE).

Setelah viral dan menjadi sorotan, video berjudul "Jauhkan Istana dari Skandal Moral" yang berdurasi sekitar delapan menit itu kini sudah tidak dapat diakses di kanal YouTube resmi Amien Rais.

Kasus ini pun memicu perdebatan luas di masyarakat terkait batas kebebasan berpendapat di ruang digital serta pentingnya menjaga etika dalam menyampaikan kritik politik.
