JATIMTIMES – Anggota Komisi E DPRD Jatim Rasiyo mendorong penguatan materi akhlak di sekolah demi memperbaiki etika para siswa. Dorongan ini tak lepas dari adanya aksi indisipliner siswa di Purwakarta yang mengacungkan simbol tak senonoh kepada gurunya.

Rasiyo prihatin dengan kejadian tersebut meskipun belakangan para siswa sudah menyampaikan permintaan maaf dan sang guru juga telah memaafkan. Rasiyo menegaskan bahwa krisis etika di lingkungan pelajar merupakan sinyal lemahnya pengawasan kolektif dan mendesak adanya penguatan materi akhlak secara sistemik di sekolah.

Mantan kepala Dinas Pendidikan Jatim ini menyoroti bahwa peran guru tidak boleh terjebak sekadar dalam transfer ilmu akademik, melainkan harus kembali pada fungsi utama sebagai pendidik karakter.

“Soal etika, ini sebenarnya menjadi tanggung jawab sekolah, utamanya guru. Mendidik itu tidak hanya masalah proses belajar-mengajar, tapi yang paling penting adalah membentuk perilaku atau behavior anak didik kita,” ujar Rasiyo, dikonfirmasi Kamis (23/4/2026).

Rasiyo mengidentifikasi bahwa salah satu pemicu merosotnya sopan santun siswa adalah paparan negatif dari perangkat digital (gadget) yang tidak tersaring. Meskipun regulasi dari kementerian terkait sudah ada, faktanya anak-anak masih sering mengakses konten bebas yang memengaruhi perilaku mereka di dunia nyata melalui perangkat milik orang tua.

Selain faktor teknologi, mantan sekdaprov Jatim ini juga menyoroti ketiadaan atau tidak optimalnya fungsi guru bimbingan konseling (BK) di sekolah sebagai benteng pertama penanganan masalah perilaku siswa.

“Kadang-kadang fungsi guru BK yang tidak optimal atau bahkan tidak ada. Itu yang menjadi masalah. Selain itu, orang tua harus sadar bahwa anak sering meminjam HP mereka. Di sinilah peran serta orang tua harus benar-benar optimal,” tegas politisi Partai Demokrat tersebut.

Dengan durasi sekolah yang hanya berkisar tujuh hingga delapan jam, Rasiyo mengingatkan bahwa sisa waktu lainnya adalah tanggung jawab penuh orang tua. Ia mendesak para wali murid untuk lebih proaktif memonitor pergaulan anak di luar rumah guna membendung dampak negatif pergaulan bebas.

“Kalau orang tua peduli, menanyakan kegiatan anak-anaknya, itu adalah bentuk perhatian nyata. Orang tua wajib mengawasi kegiatan anak di luar rumah, menanyakan di mana dan apa kegiatannya, bahkan kalau perlu diikuti karena pergaulan sekarang sangat bebas,” tambahnya.

Sebagai solusi fundamental, Rasiyo menilai alokasi waktu mata pelajaran agama yang hanya dua jam per minggu tidak lagi mencukupi untuk membentuk fondasi spiritual siswa di tengah tantangan zaman yang semakin kompleks. Ia mendorong sekolah untuk berinovasi melalui penambahan materi khusus akhlak maupun penguatan literasi kitab suci.

​“Anak pintar tapi kalau akhlaknya tidak bagus ya percuma. Pendidikan hati, keimanan, dan ketakwaan kepada Tuhan itu lebih dari segalanya. Lebih baik anak yang akhlaknya bagus dan didorong menjadi pandai melalui kolaborasi orang tua dan guru,” pungkasnya
