Direktur Utama PT PAL Indonesia Kaharuddin Djenod (kaus putih) menyerahkan beasiswa secara simbolis kepada 15 siswa Desa Sidokelar, Kecamatan Paciran, Lamongan.

JATIMTIMES - PT PAL Indonesia merayakan hari ulang tahun (HUT) ke-46 bersama warga pesisir di Desa Sidokelar, Kecamatan Paciran, Lamongan. Perayaan ini diisi dengan tasyakuran, pesta rakyat, serta penyerahan beasiswa pendidikan bagi siswa setempat.

Kegiatan tersebut menjadi wujud syukur sekaligus apresiasi perusahaan kepada masyarakat pesisir yang selama ini mendukung perkembangan industri maritim nasional. Dukungan itu dinilai menjadi energi bagi PT PAL Indonesia untuk terus meningkatkan kapasitas dan kapabilitas, terlebih di tengah rencana pengembangan galangan di wilayah pesisir Lamongan.

Direktur Utama PT PAL Indonesia Kaharuddin Djenod mengatakan, kemajuan industri harus berjalan seiring dengan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat sekitar. “Melalui pemberian beasiswa kepada siswa berprestasi, kami ingin membuka peluang yang lebih luas bagi generasi muda untuk meraih masa depan yang lebih baik. Kami berharap mereka kelak dapat berkontribusi bagi kemajuan daerah dan industri maritim nasional,” ujar Kaharuddin.

Pada kesempatan yang sama, dilakukan pula penyerahan berita acara serah terima (BAST) area workshop dari PT Lamongan Marine Industry kepada PT PAL Indonesia. Penyerahan ini ditandai dengan penandatanganan prasasti Tugu Identitas oleh direktur utama.

Langkah tersebut menjadi bagian dari penguatan peran perusahaan di Lamongan sekaligus memperluas kontribusi terhadap pengembangan industri maritim dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Selain itu, sebagai bentuk komitmen terhadap pelestarian ekosistem pesisir, PT PAL Indonesia menandatangani kerja sama dengan Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. “Perusahaan tidak hanya berfokus pada pengembangan industri, tetapi juga menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan pesisir sebagai bagian penting dari kehidupan masyarakat,” kata Kaharuddin.

Rangkaian kegiatan ditutup dengan pesta rakyat yang menghadirkan bazar makanan dan hiburan bagi warga setempat.
