JATIMTIMES - Kepemimpinan H Rachman Fadli Kurniawan sebagai ketua PSSI Kabupaten Situbondo selama kurang lebih dua tahun mencatatkan sejumlah capaian penting dalam pembenahan sepak bola daerah. Berbagai program strategis berhasil dijalankan untuk memperkuat fondasi organisasi dan pembinaan atlet usia dini.

Salah satu pencapaian yang menonjol adalah berdirinya kantor sekretariat PSSI Situbondo. Keberadaan sekretariat ini menjadi pusat aktivitas organisasi, mulai dari koordinasi pengurus hingga pelayanan administrasi bagi klub-klub anggota.

Dalam bidang pembinaan, PSSI Situbondo secara aktif menggelar kompetisi kelompok umur, khususnya U-13 dan U-15. Kompetisi ini menjadi ajang penting dalam menjaring dan mengembangkan bakat-bakat muda di dunia sepak bola.

Tak hanya itu. Kompetisi juga diperluas hingga kelompok umur U-17, sehingga pembinaan pemain berlangsung secara berjenjang. Langkah ini dinilai strategis untuk menciptakan kesinambungan dalam mencetak pemain berkualitas dari usia dini hingga remaja.

Prestasi lain yang patut diapresiasi adalah keberhasilan menyelamatkan PSSS Situbondo dari sanksi pada Liga 4 tahun 2024. Upaya ini menjaga eksistensi klub kebanggaan daerah agar tetap dapat berkompetisi secara resmi.

Di sisi kelembagaan, seluruh klub sepak bola di Situbondo kini telah berbadan hukum. Legalitas ini menjadi tonggak penting dalam menciptakan tata kelola organisasi yang profesional, transparan, dan akuntabel.

Selain itu, inovasi digital mulai diterapkan melalui penggunaan aplikasi SIAP dalam penyelenggaraan kompetisi U-13, U-15, dan U-17. Sistem ini membantu dalam pendataan pemain, jadwal pertandingan, hingga administrasi kompetisi secara lebih modern.

Namun demikian, perjalanan kepemimpinan tersebut juga mengalami dinamika. Berdasarkan Surat Keputusan PSSI Provinsi Jawa Timur Nomor: SKEP/007/PSSI-Jatim/PLT/III/2026, disebutkan bahwa Rachman Fadli Kurniawan telah mengundurkan diri sebagai Ketua PSSI Kabupaten Situbondo pada 2 Oktober 2025. 

Sebagai tindak lanjut, PSSI Provinsi Jawa Timur kemudian menunjuk Drs H Thoriq sebagai Pelaksana Tugas (PLT) Ketua PSSI Kabupaten Situbondo. Penunjukan ini dilakukan untuk memastikan roda organisasi tetap berjalan sekaligus mempersiapkan tahapan pemilihan ketua definitif. 

Menanggapi capaian selama masa kepemimpinannya, Rachman Fadli Kurniawan atau yang akrab disapa H. Rachman menyampaikan rasa syukur atas berbagai progres yang telah diraih bersama.

"Alhamdulillah, selama dua tahun ini kami bersama seluruh pengurus dan klub bisa membangun fondasi sepak bola Situbondo yang lebih tertata. Mulai dari sekretariat, kompetisi usia dini, hingga legalitas klub, semuanya kita dorong agar lebih profesional," ujarnya.

Ia juga menegaskan bahwa pembinaan usia muda menjadi prioritas utama selama dirinya memimpin PSSI Situbondo.

"Kami fokus pada pembinaan sejak usia dini melalui kompetisi U-13, U-15, dan U-17. Harapannya, ke depan Situbondo tidak kekurangan talenta pemain yang bisa bersaing di level lebih tinggi," tambahnya.

Terkait penyelamatan PSSS Situbondo dari sanksi, Rachman menyebut hal tersebut sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab moral terhadap sepak bola daerah. "PSSS adalah kebanggaan masyarakat Situbondo. Jadi, ketika ada persoalan, kami berupaya maksimal agar klub ini tetap bisa tampil dan tidak kehilangan momentum," tegasnya.

Ia juga menyoroti pentingnya transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan kompetisi melalui aplikasi SIAP. "Kami mulai menggunakan aplikasi SIAP agar kompetisi lebih transparan, tertib administrasi, dan mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Ini bagian dari komitmen kami menuju pengelolaan yang modern," jelasnya.

Di akhir pernyataannya, Rachman berharap kepengurusan selanjutnya dapat melanjutkan program-program yang telah dirintis.

"Saya berharap apa yang sudah dibangun ini bisa diteruskan dan ditingkatkan. Sepak bola Situbondo punya potensi besar, tinggal bagaimana kita bersama-sama menjaganya," pungkasnya.
