JATIMTIMES - Ketegangan antara Amerika Serikat dan Iran kembali memanas setelah upaya perundingan damai kedua negara berakhir tanpa kesepakatan. Presiden AS, Donald Trump, mengumumkan langkah tegas dengan rencana blokade terhadap jalur maritim strategis di kawasan Timur Tengah.
Melalui Komando Pusat AS atau United States Central Command, Washington menyatakan akan mulai memberlakukan blokade terhadap aktivitas maritim yang berkaitan dengan Iran. Kebijakan ini dijadwalkan berlaku mulai Senin, 13 April pukul 10.00 waktu setempat.

Dalam pernyataan resminya di platform X, CENTCOM menegaskan bahwa blokade akan diterapkan secara menyeluruh terhadap kapal-kapal yang keluar masuk pelabuhan Iran, baik di kawasan Teluk Arab maupun Teluk Oman. Meski demikian, AS memastikan tidak akan mengganggu kebebasan navigasi kapal internasional yang hanya melintas di Selat Hormuz tanpa tujuan ke pelabuhan Iran.
Laporan Reuters menyebutkan bahwa Trump juga mengeluarkan peringatan keras melalui akun Truth Social miliknya. Ia menegaskan bahwa kapal yang memberikan pembayaran atau bea kepada Iran tidak akan mendapatkan jaminan keamanan di perairan internasional.
“Tidak seorang pun yang membayar bea masuk ilegal akan memiliki jalur aman di laut lepas. Setiap warga Iran yang menembak kita, atau kapal-kapal damai, akan dihancurkan,” tulis Trump, dikutip Senin (13/4).
Pernyataan tersebut langsung mendapat respons keras dari Iran. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps memperingatkan bahwa setiap kapal militer yang mendekati wilayah Selat Hormuz akan dianggap sebagai pelanggaran gencatan senjata dan siap ditindak secara tegas.
Ketua Parlemen Iran, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, menilai ancaman dari Washington tidak akan melemahkan posisi Teheran. Ia menegaskan bahwa Iran siap merespons setiap tekanan dengan pendekatan yang setara.
“Jika Anda melawan, kami akan melawan. Jika Anda mengajukan argumen logistik, kami akan menanggapinya dengan logika,” ujar Ghalibaf.
Sebelumnya, perundingan damai antara AS dan Iran yang digelar di Islamabad pada Sabtu (11/4) berakhir buntu. Wakil Presiden AS, JD Vance, menyebut kegagalan ini sebagai kabar buruk, terutama bagi Iran.

“Kita belum mencapai kesepakatan, dan itu kabar buruk—terutama bagi Iran,” kata Vance.
Di sisi lain, Iran justru menilai kegagalan tersebut dipicu oleh kurangnya kepercayaan terhadap AS. Presiden Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, dalam komunikasi dengan Presiden Rusia Vladimir Putin, menegaskan bahwa Teheran tetap menginginkan kesepakatan yang adil dan seimbang.
Perselisihan utama dalam negosiasi ini mencakup tuntutan AS agar Iran menghentikan pengayaan uranium, membongkar fasilitas nuklir utama, serta menghentikan dukungan terhadap kelompok sekutu di kawasan seperti Hamas, Hizbullah, dan Houthi. Selain itu, Washington juga menekan agar akses penuh terhadap Selat Hormuz dibuka.
Dengan situasi yang semakin memanas, kebijakan blokade ini dikhawatirkan dapat memicu eskalasi konflik yang lebih luas, mengingat Selat Hormuz merupakan jalur vital perdagangan energi dunia.
