JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Malang mulai menyiapkan langkah tegas melalui Perda Persetujuan Bangunan Gedung (PBG). Regulasi ini diharapkan menjadi jawaban atas maraknya bangunan liar.
Wali Kota Malang Wahyu Hidayat menegaskan, pembahasan Perda PBG sudah memasuki tahap yang ditetapkan. Ia menyebut aturan itu akan menjadi dasar penindakan ke depan.

“Ya, di dalam tahap yang ditetapkan, dan itu juga akan menjadi dasar kita untuk menindaklanjutinya,” ujar Wahyu belum lama ini.
Ia mengakui, persoalan bangunan gedung di Kota Malang cukup kompleks. Banyak bangunan liar berdiri di berbagai titik tanpa izin jelas.
Namun, Wahyu mengungkapkan tidak semua persoalan bisa langsung ditangani pemkot. Sebagian bangunan liar justru berada di bawah kewenangan pemerintah lain.
“Contoh kemarin, saya ajak Pak Wagub datang ke sana. Karena banyak kewenangan bangunan liar ini bukan milik Pemerintah Kota Malang ,” katanya.
Ia mencontohkan kawasan sempadan yang dipenuhi bangunan liar. Menurutnya, wilayah tersebut masuk kewenangan provinsi sehingga perlu koordinasi lintas pemerintahan.

“Di sempadan itu ada bangunan liar. Kewenangan kita tidak bisa langsung turun, tetapi harus ada koordinasi. Makanya salah satu hambatannya seperti itu,” tegasnya.
Selain penertiban bangunan, Wahyu juga menyoroti rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat. Ia menyinggung kebiasaan membuang sampah sembarangan yang masih terjadi.
“Nah, ini juga akan ada sanksi-sanksinya. Ini nanti kita tindak lanjuti, termasuk dengan Perda itu,” pungkasnya.
