JATIMTIMES – Jajaran Polres Kediri melaksanakan inspeksi mendadak (sidak) ke sejumlah Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bakar Elpiji (SPBE) di wilayah Kabupaten Kediri, pada Jumat (10/4/2026). Kegiatan ini dilakukan sebagai langkah antisipatif untuk memastikan ketersediaan stok gas elpiji 3 kilogram tetap aman dan mencukupi kebutuhan masyarakat.

Sidak tersebut dipimpin oleh personel dari Satuan Reserse Kriminal (Satreskrim) Polres Kediri dengan menyasar beberapa titik SPBE yang menjadi pemasok utama distribusi elpiji di wilayah tersebut. Dalam kegiatan tersebut, petugas melakukan pengecekan langsung terhadap stok, proses distribusi, serta standar operasional pengisian gas elpiji.

Kapolres Kediri AKBP Bramastyo Priaji melalui Kasat Reskrim Polres Kediri AKP Joshua Peter Krisnawan menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk pengawasan untuk menjaga stabilitas pasokan dan mencegah potensi penyimpangan dalam distribusi elpiji.

“Melalui kegiatan sidak ini, kami ingin memastikan bahwa stok elpiji dalam kondisi aman serta pendistribusiannya berjalan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku,” ujar AKP Joshua.

Ia juga menegaskan bahwa pihak kepolisian akan terus melakukan pemantauan secara berkala, khususnya menjelang momen-momen tertentu yang berpotensi meningkatkan kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap elpiji.

Selain pengecekan stok, petugas juga memberikan imbauan kepada pengelola SPBE agar selalu mematuhi regulasi yang telah ditetapkan, serta tidak melakukan praktik-praktik yang dapat merugikan masyarakat, seperti penimbunan atau pengurangan isi tabung.

Dari hasil sidak yang dilakukan, secara umum ketersediaan stok elpiji di wilayah Kabupaten Kediri terpantau dalam kondisi aman dan mencukupi. Tidak ditemukan adanya indikasi pelanggaran yang signifikan dalam proses distribusi.

Polres Kediri mengimbau masyarakat untuk tetap tenang dan tidak melakukan pembelian secara berlebihan. Apabila menemukan adanya dugaan penyelewengan distribusi elpiji, masyarakat diminta segera melaporkan kepada pihak berwenang.

"Untuk pendistribusian aman, stok juga masih stabil dan tidak terjadi kelangkaan. Namun demikian bila ditemukan pelanggaran pastinya kami tindak dengan tegas," tutur AKP Joshua.
