JATIMTIMES – Intensitas hujan yang tinggi di wilayah Kota Batu kembali memicu rentetan bencana di beberapa titik pada Kamis (9/4/2026) sore. Dalam kurun waktu kurang dari satu jam, dilaporkan terjadi pohon tumbang di jalur vital Payung 2 serta tanah longsor yang merusak kandang ayam warga di Desa Tulungrejo, Kecamatan Bumiaji.
Kepala Pelaksana (Kalaksa) BPBD Kota Batu, Suwoko, mengonfirmasi bahwa cuaca ekstrem menyebabkan kondisi tanah menjadi jenuh air dan labil, sehingga memicu kerusakan infrastruktur dan gangguan arus lalu lintas.

Insiden pertama terjadi pada pukul 15.41 WIB di Jalan Trunojoyo (Payung 2), Kelurahan Songgokerto. Sebuah pohon jenis gintungan dengan tinggi sekitar 8 meter dan diameter 10 cm tumbang akibat akar yang tak lagi kuat menahan beban tanah yang jenuh air.
"Pohon roboh dan menutup sebagian badan jalan nasional. Hal ini sempat menyebabkan arus lalu lintas terganggu," ujar Suwoko.
Tim gabungan dari BPBD, TNI, Polri, PLN, hingga relawan dan Paguyuban Pedagang Payung langsung melakukan pemotongan serta pembersihan material. Selama proses evakuasi, petugas memberlakukan sistem buka-tutup arus lalu lintas untuk menjamin keamanan pengendara. Saat ini, jalur utama Batu–Pujon tersebut sudah kembali normal.
Hanya berselang sekitar 30 menit, laporan bencana kembali masuk dari Dusun Kekep, Desa Tulungrejo. Sekitar pukul 16.10 WIB, sebuah plengsengan teknis di Jalan Anjasmoro ambrol akibat terjangan air hujan.
Longsoran tersebut memiliki dimensi yang cukup besar, yakni panjang 12 meter dengan tinggi 3 meter. Material longsoran langsung menerjang bangunan di bawahnya.
"Peristiwa ini berdampak pada kerusakan kandang ayam milik Bapak Batin Muliyono. Kandang mengalami kerusakan cukup parah akibat tertimbun material plengsengan yang runtuh," tambah Suwoko.

Tidak ada laporan korban jiwa dalam dua kejadian tersebut. BPBD Kota Batu telah melakukan kaji cepat dan berkoordinasi dengan pihak desa untuk penanganan darurat. Sebagai langkah awal, bantuan terpal diberikan untuk menutup area longsor guna mencegah kerusakan susulan jika hujan kembali turun.
Suwoko menekankan pentingnya kewaspadaan ekstra bagi warga dan pengguna jalan di wilayah rawan. Ia merekomendasikan agar instansi terkait segera melakukan perempesan pohon-pohon yang sudah condong ke jalan di kawasan Payung.
"Kami mengimbau masyarakat untuk selalu berhati-hati saat melintasi wilayah rawan longsor dan pohon tumbang, terutama saat terjadi cuaca ekstrem. Keselamatan adalah prioritas utama," pungkasnya.
