JATIMTIMES - Sebelum memasuki zaman yang serba modern seperti sekarang, ada kehidupan di mana manusia masih sangat langka. Kehidupan di bumi masih di dominasi oleh hewan-hewan buas dan juga manusia-manusia purba.

Membahas hewan buas, di zaman purba terdapat beberapa binatang yang sangat mengerikan dan tentunya berbahaya. Dikutip dari Instagram @apaajadibagi, ada 5 hewan yang paling mengerikan di dunia. Kelima hewan ini sangat buas dan bentuknya sangat tidak wajar. Kira-kira ada hewan apa saja ya. Berikut penjelasannya.

Smilodon

Smilodon adalah hewan purba yang dulunya hidup di wilayah hutan Amerika Selatan, Amerika Utara sampai Amerika Tengah. Hewan ini sering disebut sebagai kucing bertaring tajam dan menduduki puncak rantai makanan yakni sebagai predator.

Titanoboa

Titanoboa adalah spesies ular terbesar dan paling mengerikan yang pernah hidup. Ukurannya mencapai 12 hingga 14 meter dengan berat 1,25 ton, dan ular ini hidup sekitar 60 juta tahun yang lalu. Dahulunya, ular itu hidup di kawasan tropis seperti di sungai Amazon.

Megalodon

Megalodon disebut sebagai super predator, hal ini tak lain karena ukurannya yang sangat besar. Panjangnya mencapai 18 meter. Ikan ini hidup pada 16 juta tahun lalu. Megalodon sendiri bisa memangsa paus atau hiu. Ih serem banget ya.

Mega Piranha

Mega Piranha adalah spesies piranha yang lebih besar, yang diperkirakan hidup sekitar 5-10 juta tahun lalu di wilayah Argentina. Hewan ini memiliki bobot mencapai 1,4 kilogram. Mega Piranha berbahaya karena sangat agresif dengan bentuk yang sangat mengerikan.

Buaya Sarcosuchus

Buaya memang menjadi hewan yang mengerikan dan ganas. Namun, Buaya Sarcosuchus merupakan spesies paling mengerikan di zamannya. Hewan ini memiliki bobot mencapai 10 ton atau 10 kali lebih besar dari buaya sekarang.

Waw, hewan-hewan diatas selain bentuknya yang seram tapi juga sangat berbahaya. Untungnya hewan-hewan diatas sudah tidak ada lagi di zaman sekarang. Gimana ya kalau hewan-hewan itu masih ada di zaman sekarang?
