Dalam video tersebut, terlihat laki-laki dan perempuan tengah memadu kasih dalam sebuah kamar yang belum bisa dipastikan apakah di dalam hotel atau apartemen. Sang pemeran perempuan terlihat memamerkan tubuhnya dengan sadar melihat ke arah kamera dan sesekali juga memandangi si pria.
Di Twitter, banyak yang menyebut bahwa lelaki yang ada dalam video tersebut adalah Andi Tanggawana atau yang tak lain manajer dari Gisel sendiri. Ya, hal itu semakin diperkuat oleh beberapa analisis dari netizen yang memiliki nama akun @Arkamrahardian dengan menyebut beberapa hal memiliki kemiripan.
Yang pertama di dalam video, terlihat ada kelambu yang warnanya sangat mirip dengan kelambu yang digunakan Gisel menginap dengan putrinya ketika berlibur ke Nihi, Sumba. Kedua, lelaki yang ada pada video tersebut dianggap wajahnya mirip dengan yang pernah di-upload di Instagram Gisel. Ketiga, dari warna rambut Gisel ada kemiripan dengan sosok wanita yang ada dalam video panas tersebut.
Video tersebut lantas jadi mrnghebohkan. Sebab, ada yang menyebut durasinya sampai 9 menit. Ada pula yang menyebutnya hanya selama 20 detik.

Bahkan salah satu paranormal Indonesia, Mbah Mijan, ikut berkomentar atas apa yang terjadi pada Gisel dengan membuat sebuah tulisan di media sosialnya. "Mbah sampek gak bisa ngomong apa-apa lagi ke Gisel kali ini, selain ngucapin makasih karena telah menyatukan rakyat Indonesia," tulis Mbah Mijan pada akun Twitter pribadinya.

Video panas itu muncul kala Gisel berlibur ke Nihi, Sumba, bersama dengan kekasihnya Wijaya Saputra atau Wijin. Manajernya, Andi Tanggawana, dan Gempi (putri Gisel dengan Gading Marten) juga ikut.
