JATIMTIMES Prabowo Subianto yang menyamakan wartawan, pengamat, dan LSM dengan sebutan "Londo Ireng " menuai kecaman. Yayasan Lembaga Bantuan Hukum Indonesia (YLBHI) melayangkan kritik terhadap Pelabelan tersebut lantaran dinilai bukan sekadar gaya komunikasi personal, melainkan narasi berbahaya yang memojokkan kelompok kritis.
Ketua Umum YLBHI Muhamad Isnur menegaskan, penyematan istilah itu merupakan bentuk pengkhianatan terhadap mandat UUD 1945. Konstitusi secara tegas menjamin kebebasan berpendapat, berserikat, serta hak masyarakat dalam mengawasi jalannya roda pemerintahan.

"Kritik terhadap pemerintah bukan pengkhianatan terhadap negara. Pemerintah bukan negara dan Presiden bukanlah republik," tegas Muhamad Isnur dalam siaran pers yang diterima JatimTIMES, Jumat (24/7/2026).
Isnur menilai ucapan seorang kepala negara memiliki bobot dan dampak politik yang sangat besar. Ketika jurnalis hingga aktivis dicap sebagai pengkhianat atau antek asing, hal itu dapat memicu tindakan intimidasi serta persekusi oleh aparat maupun pendukung pemerintah di lapangan.
Selain itu, Isnur menyoroti pernyataan Presiden yang mempertanyakan sumber pendanaan kelompok kritis. Pihaknya mengingatkan bahwa pejabat negara justru dibiayai penuh oleh masyarakat melalui uang pajak.
"Bukan Presiden yang menggaji rakyat, melainkan rakyat yang membiayai Presiden dan seluruh fasilitas pemerintahannya. Rakyat membayar pajak agar penyelenggara negara menjalankan konstitusi, bukan untuk menentukan siapa yang boleh mengkritik," lanjut Isnur.
Menurutnya, pola komunikasi yang menciptakan musuh dari dalam serta meragukan kesetiaan kelompok kritis merupakan indikasi gaya kepemimpinan otoriter. Narasi semacam itu dinilai berpotensi memberangus ruang demokrasi dan kebebasan pers di tanah air.

Apabila pemerintah mengklaim ada organisasi yang melanggar hukum demi kepentingan asing, YLBHI mendesak agar hal tersebut dibuktikan secara transparan melalui jalur hukum. Pemerintah diminta tidak sekadar melempar tuduhan publik dari podium kekuasaan.
Di akhir peryataannya, Isnur mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat sipil, akademisi, hingga insan pers untuk memperkuat solidaritas. "Publik tetap berani bersuara demi menjaga kedaulatan hukum dan demokrasi di Indonesia," imbuhnya.
