JATIMTIMES - Berbeda dengan kegiatan Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS) yang umumnya berisi pengenalan fasilitas dan budaya sekolah, kali ini sejumlah personel Unit Pelayanan Perempuan dan Anak (PPA) Satreskrim Polresta Malang Kota turun langsung ke beberapa sekolah untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai berbagai persoalan yang kerap melibatkan anak dan remaja.
Kegiatan tersebut digelar secara serentak di SDN Merjosari 04, SD Muhammadiyah 8 KH Mas Mansur, SMP PGRI 03, dan SMP Negeri 5 Kota Malang. Tak hanya menyasar peserta didik baru, sosialisasi juga diikuti siswa kelas yang lebih tinggi agar pesan pencegahan dapat dipahami oleh seluruh warga sekolah.

Kanit PPA Satreskrim Polresta Malang Kota AKP Khusnul Khotimah mengatakan awal tahun ajaran merupakan waktu yang tepat untuk membangun pemahaman siswa mengenai batasan perilaku yang dapat berujung pada persoalan hukum. Mengingat saat memasuki lingkungan sekolah yang baru, siswa sedang berada pada fase adaptasi.
“Di momen itu kami ingin memberikan bekal agar mereka memahami mana perilaku yang positif dan mana yang berpotensi menimbulkan masalah, baik bagi diri sendiri maupun orang lain,” kata Khusnul, Jumat (17/7/2026).
Materi yang diberikan disesuaikan dengan usia peserta. Pada siswa sekolah dasar, polisi lebih banyak mengajak anak-anak memahami pentingnya saling menghormati, menghargai perbedaan, berani melapor jika mengalami atau menyaksikan perundungan, serta menjaga diri dari tindakan kekerasan.
Sementara bagi pelajar SMP, pembahasan diperluas hingga menyentuh persoalan yang banyak muncul di kalangan remaja, seperti bahaya narkotika, tawuran antarpelajar, penyalahgunaan media sosial, hingga konsekuensi hukum apabila melakukan tindak pidana.
“Untuk siswa SMP kami juga menjelaskan bahwa tindakan seperti bullying, kekerasan, penyalahgunaan narkoba maupun tawuran bukan sekadar kenakalan remaja. Ada dampak psikologis bagi korban dan ada konsekuensi hukum yang harus dipahami sejak dini,” imbuhnya.
Penyampaian materi tidak dilakukan dengan metode ceramah semata. Para personel mengajak siswa berdiskusi melalui simulasi kasus yang sering terjadi di lingkungan sekolah sehingga peserta lebih mudah memahami situasi yang mungkin mereka hadapi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Dalam sesi tersebut, para siswa juga diberi kesempatan bertanya mengenai berbagai persoalan, mulai dari cara menghadapi perundungan, penggunaan media sosial secara bijak, hingga langkah yang harus dilakukan apabila mengetahui teman menjadi korban kekerasan.
Khusnul menilai upaya menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman tidak bisa hanya dibebankan kepada aparat penegak hukum. Peran guru, orang tua, dan para pelajar dinilai sama pentingnya untuk membangun budaya saling menghormati dan mencegah munculnya kekerasan di lingkungan pendidikan.
“Harapan kami, pencegahan tidak berhenti pada kegiatan sosialisasi. Sekolah, keluarga, dan siswa harus menjadi bagian dari sistem perlindungan anak sehingga tercipta lingkungan belajar yang aman, nyaman, serta bebas dari bullying, tawuran maupun penyalahgunaan narkoba,” tutup Khusnul.
