Polisi saat menangani insiden kecelakaan yang viral lantaran memicu kemacetan panjang di wilayah Kecamatan Sumberpucung, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur pada Sabtu (4/7/2026).

JATIMTIMES - Sebuah kendaraan truk bermuatan tebu mengalami kecelakaan saat melintas di jalan raya depan kawasan SPBU Kuncoro, Kecamatan Sumberpucung, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur, Sabtu (4/7/2026). Pihak kepolisian menyebut, kecelakaan tersebut diduga disebabkan karena truk terlalu berhaluan hingga akhirnya terguling.

Peristiwa kecelakaan tersebut kemudian viral di media sosial (medsos). Berdasarkan rekaman video amatir dan sejumlah dokumentasi yang dihimpun JatimTIMES, muatan tebu yang diangkut oleh truk yang terguling tersebut jatuh berserakan hingga nyaris ke seluruh badan jalan.

Di sisi lain, nampak sejumlah petugas gabungan yang melibatkan kepolisian Polres Malang yang telah disiagakan di lokasi kejadian. Polisi juga nampak mengatur lalulintas yang saat itu mengalami kemacetan panjang akibat akses jalan terhalang muatan tebu dari truk tersebut.

Ketika dikonfirmasi, Kasatlantas Polres Malang AKP Muhammad Alif Chelvin Arliska menuturkan, peristiwa kecelakaan tunggal yang kini viral tersebut terjadi pada Sabtu (4/7/2026) sore. "Anggota kami telah mendatangi TKP (Tempat Kejadian Perkara) truk tebu yang terguling di depan SPBU Kuncoro, Sumberpucung tersebut. Saat ini masih dilakukan proses evakuasi kendaraan," ujar Chelvin dalam keterangan tertulis yang diterima JatimTIMES pada Sabtu (4/7/2026) malam.

Data kepolisian mengungkapkan, kendaraan bermuatan tebu yang terguling hingga menyebabkan kemacetan tersebut merupakan Truk Isuzu dengan nomor polisi (Nopol) B 9068 BXS. Pada saat kejadian, truk tersebut sedang dikemudikan oleh Dwi Saiful Anwar.

Sopir yang kini berusia 33 tahun tersebut merupakan warga Desa Druju, Kecamatan Sumbermanjing Wetan, Kabupaten Malang. "Nihil korban jiwa dalam insiden kecelakaan tersebut," ujarnya.

Lebih lanjut, disampaikan Kanit Penegakan Hukum (Gakkum) Satlantas Polres Malang Ipda Samsul Khoiruddin, kronologi kecelakaan bermula saat truk tersebut melintas dari arah Malang menuju ke Blitar. Setibanya di lokasi kejadian, sopir mendadak berhaluan ke arah kiri lantaran menghindari kendaraan yang ada di depannya.

"Saat di lokasi, truk tersebut menghindari kendaraan yang mau masuk ke SPBU Kuncoro. Namun, karena terlalu ke kiri, akhirnya mengakibatkan truk tersebut terguling," pungkasnya.
