JATIMTIMES - Lip vinyl menjadi salah satu produk pewarna bibir yang digemari karena hasil akhirnya yang mengilap dan tahan lama. Namun, daya tahannya yang tinggi sering membuat banyak orang kesulitan saat membersihkannya, bahkan tak jarang berujung pada bibir yang kering dan mengelupas.
Makeup artist profesional Pao Hilda Afiani mengingatkan bahwa bibir kering setelah membersihkan lip vinyl bukan semata-mata disebabkan penggunaan micellar water. Menurut dia, cara menghapus produk yang terlalu keras justru menjadi penyebab utama bibir kehilangan kelembapannya.

“Kalau pakai micellar water itu sebenarnya bukan micellar-nya yang bikin kering, tapi karena susah dihapus. Jadi, digosok-gosok terus. Nah, bibir akhirnya jadi gampang ngeletek atau mengelupas,” kata Pao.
Ia menjelaskan, penggunaan kapas yang terus-menerus digesek pada bibir dapat menimbulkan iritasi, terlebih bagi pemilik bibir yang memang cenderung sensitif atau mudah kering. Karena itu, dibutuhkan cara yang lebih lembut untuk mengangkat sisa lip vinyl tanpa merusak lapisan kulit bibir.
Sebagai alternatif, Pao menyarankan menggunakan lip balm untuk membantu meluruhkan produk lip vinyl. Cara ini dinilai lebih praktis, terutama bagi mereka yang belum ingin membersihkan seluruh riasan wajah menggunakan cleansing oil.
“Jadi, kalian butuh lip balm, apa pun boleh, yang bentuk stick atau yang lain juga bisa. Pakai yang banyak sambil diputar-putar, nanti tinggal diangkat pakai kapas dan produk di bibir bisa ikut terangkat tanpa bikin kering,” imbuh Pao.
Menurut Pao, metode tersebut bisa diulang beberapa kali hingga bibir benar-benar bersih dari sisa pewarna. Apabila masih ada bagian yang sulit dibersihkan, lip balm juga bisa dioleskan langsung ke kapas sebelum digunakan pada bibir.

“Hapus lip vinyl susah? Memang bisa pakai cleansing oil, tapi kalau belum mau hapus makeup total kan jadi ribet karena harus emulsifikasi. Nah, jalan pintasnya bisa pakai lip balm,” jelasnya.
Meski demikian, ia menegaskan bahwa setiap orang bebas memilih metode yang paling nyaman untuk digunakan. Namun bagi pemilik bibir yang mudah kering, penggunaan lip balm sebagai langkah awal membersihkan lip vinyl dapat menjadi pilihan yang lebih ramah bagi kesehatan bibir.
“Pokoknya begitu, mau pakai cara ini atau enggak ya bebas. Tapi kalau bibirnya gampang kering, jangan terlalu agresif saat menghapus lip vinyl,” tutup Pao.
