JATIMTIMES Polres Kediri Kota berhasil mengungkap kasus tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan (curat) kendaraan bermotor yang terjadi di sebuah rumah kos di Jalan Mayor Bismo, Kelurahan Semampir, Kecamatan Kota Kediri. Dua pelaku berhasil diringkus petugas hanya berselang satu jam setelah korban melapor pada Kamis (11/6/2026) malam.

Saat melintas di Jalan Mayor Bismo Gang Blimbing No. 93-B, mereka melihat motor Honda Beat Street warna hitam berplat nomor AG 2063 AAJ milik seorang mahasiswa bernama Asyrof Ainaya (22) yang terparkir di area kos.
Melihat situasi sepi, kedua pelaku langsung berbagi peran: Tersangka Adi Prasetyo bertindak sebagai eksekutor (pemetik) yang masuk ke area kos dan menggondol motor korban dengan cara didorong keluar. Tersangka Harmadi bertindak sebagai pengawas situasi di atas motornya di depan gerbang kos.
Setelah berhasil keluar dari area kos, motor curian tersebut dinaiki oleh Harmadi dan didorong (distep) dari belakang oleh Adi menggunakan motornya menuju tempat kos mereka.
Korban yang menyadari sepeda motornya hilang langsung melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke Polsek Kediri Kota pada pukul 18.30 WIB dengan kerugian material ditaksir mencapai Rp 12.000.000,-.
Mendapat laporan tersebut, Tim Opsnal Unit Reskrim Polsek Kediri Kota bergerak cepat melakukan penyelidikan di lapangan. Hasilnya, pada pukul 19.30 WIB, kedua pelaku berhasil ditangkap di dalam kamar kos mereka.
Dari tangan para tersangka, petugas berhasil mengamankan sejumlah barang bukti, di antaranya:

1 unit sepeda motor milik korban (Honda Beat Street hitam AG 2063 AAJ).
1 unit sepeda motor sarana pelaku (Honda Beat hitam AG 6420 RAA) beserta STNK.
1 buah rumah kunci T beserta 4 anak kunci T, serta 1 buah obeng gagang kuning.
Pakaian yang dikenakan pelaku saat beraksi (kaos hitam bertuliskan Persebaya, celana jeans short, topi hitam, dan kaos merk B35T).
1 unit HP Realme C2 milik tersangka.
Kompol Bowo Wicaksono menegaskan, saat ini kedua tersangka beserta seluruh barang bukti telah diamankan di Mapolsek Kediri Kota untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan, para pelaku mengaku nekat mencuri karena berencana menjual motor tersebut dan membagi hasilnya demi memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari.
Atas perbuatannya, kedua tersangka dijerat dengan Pasal 477 Ayat (2) Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 tentang Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP) terkait pencurian dengan pemberatan yang dilakukan secara bersama-sama.
"Kedua tersangka terancam hukuman pidana penjara selama-lamanya sembilan tahun. Saat ini penyidik tengah melakukan penahanan dan merampungkan berkas perkara untuk dikoordinasikan dengan Jaksa Penuntut Umum (JPU)," pungkas Kapolsek Kediri Kota.
