JATIMTIMES - Satresnarkoba Polres Malang mengungkap kasus peredaran narkotika jenis sabu seberat puluhan gram di wilayah Kecamatan Dampit, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. Dari hasil ungkap kasus tersebut, polisi mengamankan pria berinisial YPF (26), warga Kecamatan Turen, Kabupaten Malang.

"Tersangka ditangkap dengan barang bukti berupa sabu seberat 44,6 gram yang diduga telah siap untuk diedarkan," ujar Kasihumas Polres Malang AKP Bambang Subinajar, Kamis (4/6/2026).

Kasus peredaran sabu tersebut terungkap setelah sebelumnya polisi menerima informasi dari masyarakat terkait aktivitas peredaran narkoba di wilayah Kecamatan Dampit. Laporan tersebut kemudian ditindaklanjuti oleh petugas Satresnarkoba Polres Malang dengan  melakukan penyelidikan.

Hingga akhirnya, petugas berhasil menangkap tersangka di sebuah rumah di Desa Rembun, Kecamatan Dampit. "Informasi masyarakat terkait dugaan peredaran narkotika di wilayah Dampit tersebut kemudian ditindaklanjuti oleh Satresnarkoba melalui serangkaian penyelidikan. Hingga akhirnya petugas berhasil mengidentifikasi dan mengamankan tersangka," ujarnya.

Bambang menyebut, tersangka diamankan petugas Satresnarkoba pada Minggu (24/5/2026) sekitar pukul 12.00 WIB saat berada pada sebuah rumah di Desa Rembun. Ketika dilakukan penggeledahan di rumah yang ditempati tersangka itulah, petugas menemukan dua plastik klip berisi sabu dengan total berat mencapai 44,6 gram.

"Dari hasil pemeriksaan awal, tersangka diduga berperan sebagai pengedar yang menyimpan dan menguasai sabu untuk diedarkan kembali," ucapnya.

Selain sabu, polisi juga turut menyita sejumlah barang bukti yang diduga digunakan untuk mendukung aktivitas peredaran narkoba oleh tersangka. Di antaranya meliputi timbangan digital, plastik klip kosong, buku catatan, alat hisap sabu, pipet kaca, sedotan plastik, tas ransel, hingga telepon genggam milik tersangka.

"Dari barang bukti yang ditemukan menunjukkan adanya dugaan aktivitas peredaran narkotika. Saat ini penyidik masih terus mendalami jaringan dan asal-usul sabu tersebut, termasuk mengembangkan kemungkinan keterlibatan adanya pihak lain," tegasnya.

Hingga saat ini, Kamis (4/6/2026), tersangka beserta seluruh barang bukti tersebut telah diamankan di Satresnarkoba Polres Malang untuk dilakukan proses hukum lebih lanjut. "Tersangka masih menjalani pemeriksaan intensif. Penyidik juga terus melakukan pengembangan guna mengungkap kemungkinan adanya jaringan yang lebih luas dalam kasus ini," ungkapnya.

Atas perbuatannya, tersangka dijerat Undang-Undang (UU) Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika. Tersangka juga dijerat dengan UU Nomor 1 tahun 2023 tentang KUHP serta UU Nomor 1 tahun 2026 tentang penyesuaian pidana.

"Kami mengapresiasi peran aktif masyarakat yang memberikan informasi. Dukungan masyarakat sangat penting dalam upaya memberantas peredaran narkoba termasuk di wilayah Kabupaten Malang," pungkasnya.
