JATIMTIMES - Pengurus Provinsi Keluarga Olahraga Tarung Derajat (Kodrat) Jawa Timur mulai memanaskan persiapan menghadapi Porprov Jatim 2027 dan Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON). Salah satu langkah yang dilakukan yakni menggelar coaching clinic khusus bagi atlet-atlet unggulan untuk meningkatkan kualitas teknik dan daya saing di level nasional.

Pembinaan tersebut difokuskan pada nomor seni gerak yang selama ini dinilai masih perlu penguatan agar atlet Tarung Derajat Jawa Timur mampu bersaing lebih kompetitif dengan daerah lain.

Dalam coaching clinic itu, Kodrat Jatim menghadirkan Sang Guru Rimba Dirgantara Drajat dan Sang Guru Putri Dara Mentari Drajat untuk memberikan pelatihan langsung kepada para atlet. Materi yang diberikan tidak hanya menyangkut teknik dasar seni gerak, tetapi juga pembinaan mental dan penguatan karakter atlet.

Ketua Harian Kodrat Jawa Timur Hari Cahyo Pujono mengatakan program tersebut menjadi bagian dari pembinaan jangka panjang. Terutama untuk mencetak atlet berkualitas yang siap tampil di ajang besar.

“Coaching clinic ini kami gelar sebagai persiapan menuju Porprov dan juga PON. Kami ingin melahirkan atlet-atlet unggulan yang lebih siap dan kompeten untuk bersaing di level yang lebih tinggi,” ujar Hari Cahyo Pujono, Jum'at (29/5/2026).

Hari mengakui, kemampuan atlet Tarung Derajat Jawa Timur di nomor seni gerak masih membutuhkan peningkatan. Sebab hingga saat ini, prestasi di kategori tersebut belum sekuat capaian pada nomor tarung yang justru terus menunjukkan perkembangan positif dalam beberapa tahun terakhir.

Menurutnya, pembinaan sejak usia dini menjadi langkah penting agar kualitas atlet Jawa Timur semakin merata di seluruh nomor pertandingan. “Kami berharap setelah pelatihan ini kemampuan atlet meningkat, terutama di seni gerak. Targetnya tentu prestasi Jawa Timur bisa lebih maksimal di Porprov maupun PON,” katanya.

Melalui coaching clinic tersebut, Kodrat Jatim juga berupaya memperkuat regenerasi atlet sekaligus membangun fondasi pembinaan yang lebih matang demi meningkatkan prestasi Tarung Derajat Jawa Timur di tingkat nasional.

Dengan penguatan teknik, mental bertanding, dan pembinaan berkelanjutan, Kodrat Jatim optimistis mampu melahirkan atlet-atlet potensial yang siap membawa nama Jawa Timur bersaing di panggung olahraga nasional.
