JATIMTIMES - Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian (Dispangtan) Kota Malang meminta masyarakat tidak khawatir terhadap ancaman penyakit pada hewan kurban menjelang Iduladha 2026. Pemeriksaan kesehatan dan pengawasan penyakit terus dilakukan untuk memastikan hewan yang dijual dalam kondisi aman dan layak.
Kepala Bidang Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan Dispangtan Kota Malang, Anton Pramujiono mengatakan, pihaknya rutin melakukan surveilans terhadap berbagai penyakit hewan, termasuk penyakit menular dan zoonosis atau penyakit yang dapat menular dari hewan ke manusia.

“Jangan perlu khawatir, karena dari Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian melalui Bidang Peternakan, kita selalu surveilans penyakit, baik itu yang menular antarhewan maupun yang bersifat zoonosis. Jadi insyaallah kalau ada penyakit bisa segera tertangani,” ujar Anton.
Dispangtan Kota Malang juga mengimbau masyarakat membeli hewan kurban di lokasi penjualan yang telah diperiksa oleh petugas. Hingga saat ini, tercatat sudah ada 107 titik penjualan hewan kurban di Kota Malang yang telah menjalani pemeriksaan kesehatan.
“Belilah ke tempat-tempat yang sudah dilakukan pemeriksaan oleh Dispangtan Kota Malang. Insyaallah semuanya sudah sehat untuk hewan kurban,” katanya.
Anton turut membagikan ciri-ciri fisik sederhana yang bisa dikenali masyarakat saat memilih hewan kurban sehat. Menurutnya, kondisi bulu dan mata menjadi indikator awal yang mudah diamati.
“Bulunya mengkilat, kemudian pandangan matanya berbinar. Cara berjalan dan berdirinya juga normal. Biasanya itu menandakan hewan tidak ada cacat,” jelasnya.
Untuk memastikan keamanan hewan kurban, Dispangtan Kota Malang juga akan melakukan dua tahapan pemeriksaan, yakni antemortem sebelum penyembelihan dan postmortem setelah penyembelihan.

“Pemeriksaan antemortem sebelum dipotong. Nanti tanggal 27 sampai 30 juga ada pemeriksaan postmortem setelah disembelih untuk memastikan daging maupun jeroannya tidak ada perubahan,” ungkapnya.
Petugas kesehatan hewan nantinya akan diterjunkan langsung ke masjid-masjid selama pelaksanaan penyembelihan hewan kurban.
“Kita keliling ke masjid-masjid. Tetap ada pemeriksaan sebelum dipotong dan setelah dipotong,” pungkas Anton.
