Sekolah Rakyat Kota Malang Mulai Pendataan Siswa, Dinsos Tunggu Juknis Kemensos

JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kota Malang mulai melakukan pendataan calon siswa untuk program Sekolah Rakyat tahun ajaran 2026. Meski petunjuk teknis (juknis) pendaftaran dari Kementerian Sosial (Kemensos) belum turun, proses penjaringan awal sudah dilakukan melalui pendamping Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) dan Puskesos.

Kepala Dinsos-P3AP2KB Kota Malang, Donny Sandito mengatakan, sasaran utama pendataan adalah masyarakat dalam Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial (DTKS) desil 1 dan 2 yang memasuki usia SMP maupun SMA.

“Dari PKH dan Puskesos sudah mulai mendata masyarakat di DTKS, khususnya desil 1 dan 2, yang usianya masuk SMP atau SMA, terutama yang akan lulus SD dan SMP,” ujar Donny.

Menurutnya, hingga kini mekanisme resmi pendaftaran masih menunggu juknis dari Kemensos. Karena itu, Pemkot Malang belum membuka pendaftaran secara resmi maupun menentukan jumlah rombongan belajar (rombel) yang akan tersedia tahun ini.

“Kalau nanti sudah ada ketetapan misalnya Kota Malang mendapat tiga rombel SMP dan tiga rombel SMA, baru kami buka pendaftaran resmi,” jelasnya.

Meski demikian, antusiasme masyarakat mulai terlihat. Beberapa warga disebut sudah mendatangi Dinsos untuk mencari informasi terkait Sekolah Rakyat.

“Sudah ada sekitar lima sampai tujuh orang yang tanya-tanya dan meninggalkan nomor telepon di Dinsos,” katanya.

Donny menambahkan, proses pendataan masih berlangsung dan akan dipercepat setelah juknis dari Kemensos diterbitkan. Nantinya, selain membuka pendaftaran umum, Dinsos juga memungkinkan melakukan penjangkauan aktif kepada calon siswa berdasarkan data DTKS.

“Bisa orang tua datang langsung mendaftar, atau nanti kami bersama PKH yang aktif menghubungi calon siswa,” imbuhnya.

Untuk tahun ajaran 2026, Sekolah Rakyat dijadwalkan mulai bersamaan dengan kalender tahun ajaran sekolah reguler.

Sementara itu, terkait lokasi operasional Sekolah Rakyat Menengah Pertama (SRMP) 16 Kota Malang, Donny menyebut kegiatan belajar mengajar kemungkinan masih menggunakan gedung lama. Sebab, rencana pembangunan lokasi baru di wilayah Arjowinangun masih belum terealisasi tahun ini dan diperkirakan masuk gelombang pembangunan berikutnya.

“Rencananya nanti di Arjowinangun untuk SMP dan SMA,” katanya.

Adapun untuk jenjang SD, hingga kini Kota Malang masih belum memiliki Sekolah Rakyat. Menurut Donny, kondisi tersebut juga terjadi di sejumlah daerah lain di Jawa Timur.

“Untuk tingkat SD memang masih kesulitan, mungkin karena faktor orang tua juga. Setahu saya di Jawa Timur juga belum ada Sekolah Rakyat tingkat SD,” pungkasnya.
