JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Surabaya melalui Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian (DKPP) kembali menggelar Gerakan Pasar Murah (GPM). Kali ini, Pemkot menggelar GPM di Kantor Kelurahan Lidah Wetan, Kecamatan Lakarsantri, pada Rabu (20/5/2026).
Kepala Bidang Pangan DKPP Kota Surabaya, Muhammad Khusnul Amin, mengatakan, GPM adalah kegiatan yang digelar secara rutin oleh pemkot setiap sebulan sekali. Tujuannya untuk mengendalikan inflasi sekaligus menekan harga bahan kebutuhan pokok di Kota Surabaya.

“Selain itu, untuk membantu masyarakat agar mendapatkan harga bahan pokok di bawah harga pasar,” kata Khusnul Amin saat ditemui di Kantor Kelurahan Lidah Wetan.
Khusnul menjelaskan, di GPM kali ini, pemkot menyediakan berbagai jenis bahan kebutuhan pokok. Mulai minyak goreng, beras, bawang putih, bawang merah, cabai rawit merah, gula, daging sapi dan ayam, serta lainnya.
Menurut Khusnul, harga minyak goreng di GPM kali ini relatif murah daripada harga di pasaran. Contohnya, Minyakita dijual dengan harga di bawah pasaran, yakni Rp15.700 hingga Rp15.000 per liter. Sedangkan harga beras premium juga dijual lebih miring dari pasaran sesuai harga eceran tertinggi (HET).
“Untuk beras premium 3 kilogram di pasaran harganya Rp77 ribu kita jual Rp74 ribu. Sedangkan beras SPHP kita jual di bawah harga pasar,” ujarnya.
Mantan camat Asemrowo itu menyebutkan, GPM kali ini pemkot menyediakan kurang lebih 20 karton Minyakita atau sekitar 240 liter. Sedangkan untuk beras, pemkot menyediakan sebanyak satu mobil pikap yang terdiri dari beras premium dan medium dengan ukuran 3 kilogram dan 5 kilogram.

“Kita bawa beras banyak karena itu kebutuhan pokok masyarakat. Kita jual sampai habis. Pembelian beras tidak ada batasan karena bawa banyak stok beras. Pembatasan hanya Minyakita, minimal 2 liter untuk satu warga,” sebutnya.
Dirinya berharap, kegiatan ini bisa terus dijalankan ke depannya karena karena GPM banyak membantu warga untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. “Harapannya ke depan bisa membantu warga, bisa terus berjalan dan ditingkatkan. Karena ini berjalan setiap bulan,” ucapnya.
Sementara itu, warga Lembah Harapan, Kelurahan Lidah Wetan, Wartini Asih mengaku sangat terbantu adanya GPM yang digelar Pemkot Surabaya. Adanya kegiatan ini, ia memborong sejumlah bahan pokok seperti beras hingga minyak goreng.
“Harganya lebih murah, mumpung ada pasar murah beli beras dan lainnya. Terbantu sekali, buat kami rakyat kecil,” katanya.
Selain Wartini, ada juga Nuraini yang terbantu dengan GPM yang digelar pemkot. Pada kesempatan ini, ia memborong sejumlah bahan kebutuhan pokok seperti beras, minyak goreng, hingga cabai. “Sering-sering diadakan seperti ini (GPM). Kami senang sekali karena sangat membantu,” tutupnya.
