Disporapar Kota Malang Tegaskan Komitmen Dukung Talenta Muda Berprestasi

JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kota Malang menyatakan apresiasi atas prestasi talenta muda asal Kedungkandang, Gista Alisa, yang dikabarkan berhasil meraih gelar Miss Grand Jawa Timur dan melaju ke tingkat nasional. Dukungan itu disampaikan Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata (Disporapar) Kota Malang sebagai bentuk komitmen pembinaan generasi muda berprestasi.

Kepala Disporapar Kota Malang, Baihaqi, mengaku baru menerima informasi terkait capaian tersebut dari awak media. Meski demikian, pihaknya memastikan tetap memberikan apresiasi terhadap siapapun yang membawa nama baik Kota Malang di tingkat regional maupun nasional.

“Pertama saya baru dengar dari jenengan, nanti akan kami telusuri dan cek keikutsertaannya. Namun demikian, terlepas dari itu semuanya, jika memang itu keberhasilannya, tetap kita memberikan apresiasi. Karena apapun yang membawa nama baik Kota Malang dan Jawa Timur tentu kita dukung,” kata Baihaqi.

Menurutnya, Pemkot Malang selama ini terus memberikan ruang dan pembinaan bagi talenta-talenta muda di berbagai bidang, termasuk duta wisata dan ajang pengembangan kepemudaan. Salah satunya melalui pengiriman wakil Kota Malang pada ajang Raka-Raki Jawa Timur yang rutin dilakukan setiap tahun.

“Setiap tahun kita mengikutsertakan wakil-wakil dari Kota Malang untuk mengikuti pemilihan Raka-Raki Jawa Timur. Tahun ini juga ada satu pasang yang masih dalam proses seleksi,” ujarnya.

Baihaqi menjelaskan, keterlibatan generasi muda dalam ajang tersebut bukan sekadar kompetisi semata, melainkan bagian dari strategi promosi wisata dan penguatan citra daerah. Talenta muda dinilai memiliki peran penting sebagai representasi wajah Kota Malang di berbagai kegiatan.

“Ajang ini juga dalam rangka mempromosikan wisata yang ada di Kota Malang. Mereka adalah aset daerah yang harus dibina,” tegasnya.

Selain pembinaan, Disporapar juga melibatkan para talenta muda dalam berbagai agenda resmi pemerintah daerah. Mulai dari kegiatan seremonial hingga promosi pariwisata di tingkat nasional.

“Kita melakukan pembinaan, kemudian memberikan peran kepada mereka. Kita libatkan di acara-acara besar di Kota Malang, menjadi wakil pemuda untuk promosi wisata, termasuk kita ikutkan dalam ajang-ajang pemilihan dan kegiatan Apeksi,” jelas Baihaqi.

Meski tidak ada jalur khusus menuju aparatur sipil negara (ASN) bagi peserta ajang seperti itu, Baihaqi menyebut prestasi tetap menjadi nilai tambah yang dapat dipertimbangkan dalam berbagai kesempatan.

“Kalau PNS itu ada jalurnya sendiri sesuai ketentuan. Tapi paling tidak prestasi itu sering kali menjadi bahan pertimbangan,” katanya.

Atas capaian Gista Alisa, Pemkot Malang juga menyampaikan pesan dukungan agar mampu terus melangkah hingga tingkat nasional dan membawa hasil terbaik bagi Jawa Timur.

“Kami menyampaikan selamat kepada yang bersangkutan. Mudah-mudahan terus berlanjut sampai tingkat nasional. Nanti akan kami mencari tahu lebih jauh terkait keikutsertaannya,” pungkasnya.
