JATIMTIMES - Pelaksana Tugas (Plt) Bupati Tulungagung, Ahmad Baharudin, menghadiri agenda strategis bertajuk "Implementasi Ekoteologi dan Literasi Qur’an dalam Ekosistem Pendidikan Tinggi Islam Berdampak" yang diselenggarakan di Gedung UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah (SATU) Tulungagung, Kamis (16/4/2026).
Acara ini menjadi momentum istimewa dengan kehadiran Menteri Agama Republik Indonesia, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, MA. Kehadiran tokoh nasional ini memberikan penguatan signifikan mengenai urgensi integrasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dalam kehidupan akademik serta pelestarian lingkungan.

1. Gedung Laboratorium Terpadu

Langkah ini disimbolkan sebagai komitmen nyata dalam meningkatkan kualitas riset dan layanan kesehatan bagi seluruh civitas akademika serta masyarakat sekitar.
Penambahan fasilitas ini diharapkan mampu mengoptimalkan tridharma perguruan tinggi, khususnya di bidang penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat.
Dalam penuturannya, Menag Nasaruddin Umar menekankan bahwa Al-Qur’an menyimpan pesan ekologis yang mendalam. Ia menegaskan bahwa perguruan tinggi Islam harus menjadi pionir dalam melahirkan generasi yang religius sekaligus berwawasan lingkungan.

“Ekoteologi adalah jembatan antara iman dan tanggung jawab terhadap alam. Ini bukan sekadar wacana, tapi harus menjadi gerakan kolektif di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi Islam,” tegas Menag.
Selain seremonial peresmian, kegiatan ini juga diisi dengan diskusi ilmiah dan penguatan literasi Al-Qur’an. Tujuannya untuk menciptakan ekosistem kampus yang tidak hanya unggul secara intelektual, tetapi juga memberikan dampak nyata bagi kelestarian ekosistem global.
Hadirnya Plt. Bupati Ahmad Baharudin dalam acara ini juga menegaskan kuatnya sinergi antara pemerintah daerah dengan institusi pendidikan tinggi Islam.
Kerja sama lintas sektor ini diharapkan mampu mencetak generasi unggul yang berakhlak mulia, berilmu luas, dan memiliki kepedulian tinggi terhadap kelestarian alam di Tulungagung.
